I dont know why everyone is making a big deal out of her saying that. She is a negotiator. She's just doing her job. Im sure every person in her position for every NFL team has had that exact conversation with many players and their agents.

People on here making her out to be some kind of mean and/or stupid lady are ridiculous. Its as if they wouldve prefered she let Tannehill's agent make the contract out themselves and have the team sign it. GET REAL.

I really don't see how people can bash this show. I have never felt better about the dolphins. I really feel philbin has brought something out of this team. Whether it is the cameras or just the change of staff, everything about this team seems a bit more legit. This is a totally different team and I am very excited for this season. PHINS FOR LIFE!!!

Most interested in the fact that Jeff Ireland still uses Internet Explorer, can see it when he's looking at Tannehill's player page. No wonder the team's transactions haven't been great the past few offseasons, by the time Ireland's email loads with player transaction news, the free agents are already signed.

For real, found the player page/ scouting system for the team's interesting (at 29:50 of the broadcast) in terms of classifying players and keeping their stats on record. I can't make it out clearly, but it looks like they had Tannehill's 40 time at 4.63 (could be 4.43 because the screen is blurry, but more unlikely), his 10 yard split at 1.63 (which would be on par with Quinton Coples' or Olivier Vernon's) and the 20 yard split at 2.65 (again could be 2.45). These numbers really have no relevance now that he's on the team, but someone could find that interesting.

Also, it was a little uncomfortable to watch Philbin have to talk to Chad about the f-bombs in the conference room and stuff like that. I didn't like how he couldn't look Chad in the eye and tell him straight up to cut that out. Otherwise, damn, I think Ross made the right move with this hire.

I looked at that scene differently. Philbin as he was talking to Chad was keeping his eye on practice at the same time basically saying while I'm reprimanding you the TEAM is still more important and still the focus here. His demeanor was get your **** together and stop dropping f bombs on tv or you won't be part of this big picture, my team. I thought Philbin played that brilliantly by treating him like a vet instead of being in his face about it like look youre a vet I don't have to drill it in your head, you are either hearing me or you're not, either way this is my team and it's up to you if you want to be a part of it. Simple as that.

Yep, just like I've listened to managers explain to employees why they didn't get a promotion. "It's not over yet, blah blah blah". Clearly Tannehill is not making a name for himself out there.
