So......how was Hard Knocks??

A couple of my coworkers are just nfl fans, as hard to believe as that may be in the center of whodat nation. I was told that Joe looked a little soft in demeanor and tone. Not sure what that means.

Yep, Tough and Loud is how you get things done!

Haven't read the above post's sorry...

just my take on it....

I hope it works out for that D. Dickens (SP)? guy that got cut on day 1, without even trying out. Hopefully the show helps him to get noticed somehow by another team.

The coach's are really excited about Tannenhill and it really looks like the kid has what it takes to play at a high level in the NFL. I'm excited to see him play.

Chad Johnson...dude is crazy, LMAO a few times (Call of Duty comment and what he learned in New England "How to STFU!"....Chad looks determined. Really pulling for him to make an impact for us.

Philbin really knows how to get through to a player in my opinion...did he look a little too quite or not hard enough on Chad for the F-Bombs? That's an opinion I guess....but he knows how to teach and the importance of respect will go a long way with this team. Loved the dinner party he had with the wifes and thank them as well, he gets it.

We're going to be a respectable and winning franchise again, sooner rather later.

After watching the show one thing worries me - WHY on earth did we (Ross, not fans) think Fisher would be a better hire? I'm glad he snubbed us so we got Coach Philbin. He is gonna be a great coach!

The (manufactured) story of the offseason was that Miami is an inept, bumbling organization that no one wants to play for. I don't know think that anyone who watches this program will come away with that conclusion unless they wanted to in the first place.

Just finnished watching it............****ing great cant wait till next week.

Liked it but didn't love it.

Not really enough football or behind the scenes management stuff, a lot of filler and when they showed training it was done in so many jump cuts you had a hard time figuring out exactly what was going on.

Definitely The Philbin Show in Week 1. Other coaches and even Ireland and Ross were kept peripheral while they established Philbins credentials.

It was interesting in a fairly superficial way, though I did learn one new thing - Matt Moore is the Players Choice right now, even if Tannehill is the people's choice and Garrard is the coaches choice.

Chad is funny as hell. Call of Duty line was pure gold. He also looked like he was training very well. Vontae came across as lazy as he is dumb. I hope that was just editing and not the guy himslef. Gates call with his gf made him come across like a bit of a whining douche. Bush, Long, Moore all came across excellently.

Ireland struck me as a frustrated coach. Someone who would trade in his GM duties to be a coach in a heartbeat if he got the chance. Which isn't going to happen. I don't know if that's good or bad.

So, for me anyway, there was a lot of fluff and not a lot of football, with a few little glimpses of life behind the curtain. Hopefully the sports content will increase as the show goes on.
