In the end all this does is prove how much of a dysfunctional organization Miami is. All these appearent yacht meetings, tanking allegations, draft screw ups, Tua mistreatment and trade rumors are part of this Stephen Ross dysfunction. As far as Flores goes, Elway and the New York Giants responses explain a lot. It seems there are a few, highly susceptible claims by Flores.

The ironic thing is that the 2019 Dolphins were tanking to land an elite quarterback to prevent them from being stuck in perpetual mediocrity. Instead Flores won a bunch of meaningless games and built a team that is again stuck in perpetual mediocrity.
Thinking back to the 2019 season and the posts on this forum.There were more posters who were upset that the Dolphins won games as there were fans who were happy when the team won games.
I think most posters went into that season with the idea the Dolphins would likely be a bad team and likely get the first pick in the draft. Of course prior to the season, the majority of the posters who wanted the team to tank the season were hoping they would tank for Tua.
Going into the 2019 season, no one was thinking of tanking for Burrow. Because prior to the 2019 season ,Burrow was projected to be no better than a 4th or 5th round pick. So basically even though they didn’t tank the 2019 season, they ended up drafting the exact player most posters wanted them to draft prior to the 2019 season.
I have no idea if Ross offered Flores money to lose in 2019 but if he did, he seemed to only be doing what many on this forum wanted the Dolphins to do that season. Lose the most games and end up with the first pick in the draft.
In hind sight, I think the majority of the posters on here would agree that the Dolphins would be better off at the QB position if Burrow was the teams QB instead of Tua and I say that as a fan of Tua.

If you don’t think an owner firing a coach and publicly saying the coach lacked the communication and collaboration necessary to have long term success is not slanderous, then you are exactly the meme you posted.

I read the post and they think there isn’t institutional racism in the NFL.
Only a person that lacks intellect would confuse me with acknowledging there is racism with blaming everything on racism.

Of course it was. Let me drudge up some links to some old posts where I said so. I remember being right about it that’s for sure. I wasn’t bitching about Herbert through all of 20 and 21 because I knew Burrow was not all along. Didn’t everyone?
If it’s slanderous as you claim, why isn’t Flores suing Ross for slander? I see nothing in his lawsuit which claims slander in regards to what Ross said when he fired Flores. You would think his lawyers would have included the slander charge in the lawsuit if they felt they could prove the comments Ross made were actually slanderous.
Of course it is Ross and Elway who have claims of defamation of character lawsuits if Flores is unable to prove his claims against both of these men he made in his lawsuit.
