but maybe Gase doesn't really want him out there.
.
If it ain't broken...

Put on even the same pair of underwear you wore last week.
but maybe Gase doesn't really want him out there.
.
And if those 40 passes gain 500 yards, then the receivers are good?If they pass 40 times on 58 plays this week then they jump 7% to 55%.
Dvp said in an interview earlier this week gass told him on Saturday he was sitting him to give him a few more days with his finger.
So why are people running with all these other narratives?
But only 4tds, which is near the bottom. And 56 attempts; also near the bottom. Again, using averages and ratios are fine. But the actual numbers are near the bottom.
And if those 40 passes gain 500 yards, then the receivers are good?
By the way, it would jump 7 percentage points, not %.
I'm trying to stay away from the algebra! Lol
You said that we're near the bottom in receiving TDs, but that isn't true... Miami is in the top half of the league in TD receptions (there are 17 teams with fewer TD receptions, so that puts Miami in the top 47%):
10 KC
8 Tampa
6 LAC, Min, Cin
5 NO, Bal, Jax, NE, Sea
4 Pit, Det, GB, Ind, Mia
3 LA, Den, Car, Hou, NYJ, SF
2 Was, Atl, Ten, Cle, Chi
1 Oak, Phi, NYG, Dal, Buf
0 Ari
Also, this is on the fewest pass attempts in the league, making Miami more efficient, hence why they are in the top 5 in pass attempts per TD. The top 10 is:
5.5 KC
7.6 Tampa
11.8 Cin
12.8 Mia
13 LAC
13.8 Sea
14 Min
14.8 NE
15.6 Jax
16 NO
All of this says that the Miami passing game is very efficient at scoring TDs, which is a good reflection on the work of the receivers as a collective unit. Hence why I believe they are good so far.
I do agree with you that 2 games is too small of a sample size to draw any conclusions. It is however all we have right now.
Another thing we will definitely agree on, as you point out, is, irrespective of our view on the receivers, we all want them to do well and we all want Miami to win tomorrow!
Ugh, this WR group is near the bottom of the league in yards, ypc and TDs. Why do people have this perception that they’re any good? Now, this poster isn’t only talking about the WRs. But I keep hearing similar things or that this WR group is really good.....
If you understood our offense, then might understand why this receiver corps is so good.
I'm not going to waste my time educating you because i don't think it would "take".
I will tell you it has everything to do with WHAT we do and WHAT we are trying to do, and HOW we do it.
Lastly, I'll drop you something to ponder- this receivimg corps has done everything Gase has asked of it. There are few drops, few route errors, high completion percentage and good blocking.
It is one of the strengths of this team, and one of the best in the NFL for what is required and demanded of it.
There will not be a superstar from this group- and I love that.
Parker will probably get hurt putting on his jersey
Except for the randy moss years, the patriots haven’t needed a super star wr, they have won with smart, quick wrs who make tough catches. If you understood our offense, then might understand why this receiver corps is so good.

True, but they have also had one of the top delivery systems in history.Except for the randy moss years, the patriots haven’t needed a super star wr, they have won with smart, quick wrs who make tough catches.

Yes, and you also have coaches there that argue they could do the same with any top 15 qb. Which means the wrs required are a system fit. They have arguably the all time best coach and QB in history
