ha ha...using the word "cherish" when talking about the checks in the w column in a 6 win season...too much...my side hurts

There is nothing to cherish about 6 wins but I enjoyed everyone of them (esp the Jets). The team showed charactor. That's never a bad thing my friend.

This year. 3 years from now, I'm not so sure. They're rebuilding the right way. QB first and foremost.

And your telling me we would be patient enough to wait 3 years. I'm getting old dude . I need some instant gratification. That's why Peyton made sence to me.

No way, problem with you people is your impatient and you want a quick fix. If it was meant to be it what it happened. These things have a funny way of working out. Who's to say luck even has a career. One twist of the knee and he's done. The most important thing about having a good team is having a good front office. Once we achieve that the rest will come. Faith

Sucked for Luck or RGIII. Now we're going to Suck for Barkley.

All you guys forget who you are talking about. I was all for suck for luck, but in the back of my mind I thought that even if the Dolphins were lucky enough to get a crack at luck or even barclay next year, they will probably blow it. We cannot trust this organization when it comes to drafting skill players, even if they fall into their laps. This old parcell's build the lines crap is getting old, how many offensive line guys are you going to draft in the first round? Well if your the dolphins, probably every damn year.

Should we have Sucked for Luck?

Big Time...... NOPE!!!!!!

Other then the 2008 Dolphins, please let me know which team after getting the overall #1 pick, was competive the following year, or even following 5 years?

Besides, we would not have gotten him anyway, no team was more committed to losing all their games then the Colts, and getting RG3 after losing all those games, would not have felt all that great.

Every year when free agency hits we all go ga ga as players get picked and we do nothing.
Two years ago they got Marshall and Dansby. Last year it was Bush and Burnett.
I'll bet they pull a couple of rabbits from the hat this year. Let see where we stand after the draft before losing all hope this year. Got to say this for our Dolphins. They keep it interesting ... and not usually in a good way.

Carolina was competitive last year. The rest I agree with.

Detroit Lions '09, Houston Texans '06, San Diego Chargers '04, Cincinnati Bengals '03, Atlanta Falcons '01, and my favorite example, Indianapolis Colts '98. Note: most of them used the pick on QB.

To a certain point, but when you look at it, they still only won just as many games as this Dolphin team that we are complaining about, and some actually think is not that good a team.

You guys are hysterical we have stink for years and you still don't get we need aqb! The current team is in a great state! I see us taking over division dominance from New England.

Russell Maryland, Dallas Cowboys
Drew Bledsoe, New England Patriots
Keyshawn Johnson, New York Jets
Orlando Pace, St. Louis Rams
PEYTON F'N MANNING!!!
Michael Vick, Atlanta Falcons
Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals
Eli Manning, New York Giants
Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

And that was just the past 20 years!
More examples:
Troy Aikman
Bruce Smith
John Elway
Irving Fryar (if we just talk about getting to the Super Bowl)

You went as far as 98 to show success, of which they were the only team to evantually win a SB and the only reason they ended up winning a superbowl almost 10 years later, is because they lucked out on actually getting a franchise QB. Chargers, Lions, Bengals are all still inconsistant. Texans only last year finally reached the playoffs, and as far as the Falcons, well their so called great QB is starting to not have the great talent he had around him before, so he will have to put the team on his shoulders, which will prove finally to everyone hopefully why not taking him as you overall #1 pick, was one of the few smart moves every made by an organization that had Parcells.

Would I want Luck, absolutely, but not at the cost of losing on purpose, and for an entire season, anyone that has played any type of sport know how tough it is to come back from a season that you were horrible.

We've already done that several years in a row ... the answer is 7-9, 7-9, 6-10 !! Couple rabbits don't help!!

Really Electro I love the avatar but do you really want to root for a team that intentionally loses does any team really do that?
