So the Combine.....

urban is someone i can get down with...solid player there...mid round value...very good for uva...don't see anything special but i think he will make a living in the league for a while

I want a seem threat TE. We have our in-line Fasano replacement in Simms (who I still think can contribute on this team---his hands are extremely underrated)

Jace Amaro has the measurables and "freak-ness" about him that I want. He runs excellent routes, can get up and grab the ball, and is probably one of the more physical (not in terms of blocking but YAC) TEs on the board.

Off the field issues and attitude could cause him to drop. Which is why I'm not opposed to trading down back into the lower 2nd to grab him.

amaros got skeletons in his closet...lots of em...likely gonna hurt his stock...good talent player though...large catch radius defeats coverage at the los well...soft hands...flex win option...

Agree - he is coachable, nice frame and surprisingly athletic. Nothing remarkable, but good enough that teams will give him a look and I think he will stick.

And for those who care, the best Canadian in this draft may well be Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (OT). Because of his limited resume, he will be a late round pick, but given our needs, I think the Fins should look at him. Technique is raw, but lots of upside. (Won't be at the combine though).

I want to see how well this kid, Jerry Ricecake, runs. I hear he's got remarkably soft hand, an amazing work ethic, and most importantly crisp clean route running ability. I'd be supprised if he falls to us or if we do something crazy and trade up for him.

The LB from Oregon, Lokombo, is one of those effort guys. He's probably a 4th or 5th rd pick, but he'll end up on a roster for the next 5 years.

34 reps of 225 is nice for a tackle...arm length will matter...havent seen that listed yet...i scanned the entire east west shrine game and i don't recall seeing this guy flash much at the time...athletically looks like he's a plus with those numbers

I may be in the minority but the combine does nothing for me. I do think that the interview process with prospects is important but watching guys in shorts and t-shirts doing the same things that I used to to at the 5th grade field day doesn't get me going.

:lol2: I don't think you ran a 4.4 40 in 5th grade. For me it's fascinating to watch freaks of nature at work.
