so we have 1 player in the NFL's top 100

1 player on the top 100 and people here want to let him walk because "left tackles don't win superbowls"

I completely agree, that's why I never really pay much attention to these NFL top 100 lists, nothing but a popularity contest.

I had actually had high hopes for Daniel Thomas since I had watched him closely in college and hoped we'd draft him. Sadly I've been wrong about him though he was plagued by injuries, it seems like Miller may overtake him as the 2nd RB.

Fandom is a beautiful thing!! You can tell a fan, but you can't tell them much (especially about football.)
 
Fair enough. It's understandable that our players might not be considered "elite" by NFL standards as a result of our recent funk the past few seasons...but to be honest, Vaark is right...the fact that Tebow is on their is just mind boggling. That just brings down the credibility of that list all together. But whatever, let the Jests worry about him. As far as the Dolphins are concerned, let's just hope Philbin and company are able to elevate the players' level of play a lot better than our last set of coaches were able to.
 
Another useless thread and attacking your own team's players. How many of these useless threads have to pop up. Just stop already, and stop whining. Let the season play out and who cares about the top 100 players anyway. I would rather have a winning team then a stupid list that is more opinion, that does not change a damn thing on the field.

the saddest thing is i dont disagree with the list. who on our team other than Long can you even argue is a top 100 talent? nobody else on the offense thats for damn sure. does that even change after next year? nope. our talent is on the defense, but still not much. maybe cam wake? Soliai? vontae? maybe one of them cracks this list after next season.

no wonder this team sucks, no QB, no real weapons (anymore) and not much talent overall .

These list are irrelevent...you don't win games because of them and having more players on this list doesn't neccesarily make you a better team.

You'll get more players recognized when the team starts winning more games, its no different than the Pro Bowl in that respect.
 
Top 100 was nothing more but a popularity contest.

Long obviously was a no brainer.

But to leave out Wake, Reggie Bush (based on this year), Vontae Davis, Soliai.

They say its based on 2012 performance, well Peyton Manning did not even play! Yet he makes top 50? Based on stats Matt Moore was a top 15 QB yet Tebow makes the list?

Wake really wasn't on the list? WTF? didn't he have double digit sacks two years in a row?

It's ridiculous that Wake, who by last weeks NFL's article is considered the #1 pass rusher in the league, and is the player that created the most holding penalties against did not make the Top 100 list.
