We all I know the dolphins have many areas to fix and improve. The offensive line is one of those priorities, but I thought I'd focus on the runningback position. I think a better line would have helped lamar miller, but runningbacks who can run well but also block and catch are very helpful. Unfortunately the dolphins had issues protecting tannehill and the runningbacks such as lamar miller, etc didn't help any as they were poor in pass blocking. It's obviously really important going into next season protection is improved for tannehill. So not only is help with the offensive line key, but runningbacks that can run better, making the dolphins not one dimensional and who can help in pass blocking should be a premium. There are other needs obviously, especially regarding linebackers. But should miami keep lamar miller? Is he just a decent runningback? I think Daniel thomas's days are up or should be up. I think what you see is what you get with him. Should miami get a free agent runningback or draft or both? I mean some might say drafting is best, but that didn't work when drafting Lamar miller nor mike gilisee this season. Or should miami simply draft again this season, maybe getting a better rb under a different coach or gm, if ireland is gone.

Keep Miller get rid of Thomas and get a real power back.

They will add a veteran running back at the very least, capable of picking up blitzes...

Power back!! I want someone who can actually pick up that 1 or 2 yards for a damn 1st down!

Need a bruiser back....for short yardage and blitz pick up.

Keep Miller. I would like to see what Gisilee can do as well.....

I agree. What is the cap hit if we cut Daniel Thomas? If it's not too much it could be prudent to keep him as our #3 -just for depth. His effort in Pittsburgh coming back from injury actually won us the game. The most important thing that the RBs need is more talent on the O-line.

Power back would be huge for the short yardarge first downs and goalline running and chain moving as well as pass blocking. It would be a nice complement to lamar millers speed. But with miamis line, if the line doesn't improve, would it help having a powerback? Fins might need a good sized back that can grind it out but not simply a poweback as this runningback might need to have a really good lateral moves and ability to make defenders miss and create runs.

Can't be much, he's entering his 4th year

THIS ^^^^ we dont need 3-4 RBs that are all the same ,, scat backs , you got to have a Power RB in there as well for short yardage and when you have the game in hand , to be able to control the clock and pickup yards .
