So what does miami do with their runningbacks?

- Keep Miller, he will get his chance next year or until his contract is up imo
- Get rid of Thomas, had enough of him. Like 3 good games his whole career. Supposed to be a power back/pass blocker- not good as either
- Absolutely get rid of Thigpen, had a good year as a returner before but this year was god awful. In the Jets game he was running with the kickoff and just f***ing dropped it for no reason
- Gillislee will stay just because of being a recent draft pick

Maybe sign MJD to replace Thomas and draft someone too

Draft Bishop Sankey in 2nd round! This guy is the real deal.

Get a starting offensive lineman at 19th pick of first round, then go get Sankey with 2nd pick.

My FA list would include Blount and Andre Brown. Both run with lots of power, can pick up blitzes and are entering their prime age wise. If we look at the draft there's not a ton of options, I'm looking for a 225+ bruiser, Carlos Hyde's out there if we invest early but a late pick like Storm Johnson and a handful of others would be an option as well. I'd prefer we go the FA route with the aforementioned guys.

CJ2K will be released .

We all I know the dolphins have many areas to fix and improve. The offensive line is one of those priorities, but I thought I'd focus on the runningback position. I think a better line would have helped lamar miller, but runningbacks who can run well but also block and catch are very helpful. Unfortunately the dolphins had issues protecting tannehill and the runningbacks such as lamar miller, etc didn't help any as they were poor in pass blocking. It's obviously really important going into next season protection is improved for tannehill. So not only is help with the offensive line key, but runningbacks that can run better, making the dolphins not one dimensional and who can help in pass blocking should be a premium. There are other needs obviously, especially regarding linebackers. But should miami keep lamar miller? Is he just a decent runningback? I think Daniel thomas's days are up or should be up. I think what you see is what you get with him. Should miami get a free agent runningback or draft or both? I mean some might say drafting is best, but that didn't work when drafting Lamar miller nor mike gilisee this season. Or should miami simply draft again this season, maybe getting a better rb under a different coach or gm, if ireland is gone.

Goint to work and didn't read the comments, but I'd say we need a primary running back. Maybe FA is a possibility. We picked up Bush that way and it worked out. We can do it again. Lamar Miller is a changeup back, and will never be anything more than that. I did notice though, that very very late in the 4th quarter in the Jets game, he suddenly started trying to run over people and break tackles...lol. A little too late for that. But his job is secure, we just need another back.
