As unsexy as the Pouncey pick was, without him we would be looking at a 1st team O-line "highlighted" by Richie Incognito.
Henne the past three weeks combined:
25/37, 369 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT
Very solid numbers for Henne. The right side of the offensive line is a concern, and I hope this week they make a couple of adjustments. Perhaps finally sign O'Hara.
What the **** did Tony do to this OL? For an OL guru he sure knows how to **** things up. Fool is lucky I'm not the owner. I'd fire him right now and promote Nolan to interim HC. Seriously, Sparano is a bigger turd than ChadBot and this OL combined.
Yes, he does. 2 preseason games don't wipe out 2 full years of garbage. The only thing that can change it is performing consistently throughout the regular season. Don't worry, there's a ready-made excuse lined up for this year: the O-line.same people with same comments, including myself.
but i find it amusing on henne. the dude under duress from crappy oline, does 10-13 1 td and struck two big plays downfield back to back and this is what we get.
because if he didnt do this you know what they would say....
henne still sucks....so we cant say that this week so we will wait til next week when the opportunity arises. laughable

Probably because people don't count those as Henne's, which is ridiculous when you use stats to prove your point. Otherwise, we would have to go back and remove any TDs and yards that were the result of the receiver (e.g. the TD in which Marshall showed why we got him). Further, to be entirely accurate, we'd have to go back through every play and note dropped INTs, dropped TDs, potential yards lost due to penalties, blah, blah, blah.Bull****. Henne had 2 INTs the first game. Where you coming up with this 0 INT crap?

You can't qualify stats if you are going to use them in your argument, and those that think Henne is going to turn things around (sorry, but I'm not one of them) should focus on the second game of this preseason in which stats weren't his biggest triumph. It was how he managed the game and something you can only see on film.
