This sounds soooo much eaiser than it actually is to do, I understand that, I know that it most likely wont happen, but hey, a man can dream right ;) , just tell me what you think, and if it would even be worthwile.

This year:

1) Make trade for Billy Volek - 2006 6th round draft pick & DE David Bowens - Both teams get what they want/need, the only real hole I see in the Titans D is their De's, one of our strong points, I figure we are going to be running the 4-3 switching Carter and Holliday at DE, not to mention we already have Taylor, Zgonina, Traylor, Vickerson, Shaw, and Romero to switch in and out, yeah, were stacked. Their starting DE's are Bo Schobel and Travis Laboy, I think a good dose of D Bo is what they need, he could be a starter for alot of teams. Either way both teams are happy and we get our QB.

2) Trade AJ Feeley to Chicago for 2006 5th round draft pick - Chicago needs some help. Grossman is hurt........again, Ortons a rookie and Hutchinson is well.........Hutchinson. Now im saying that Feeley is going to be a savior for them, but he will be welcome with what they have to work with now, and I dont think a 5th round pick for a guy we got for a 2nd will be asking too much. I hope Chicago feels the same way. Good trade for both teams, Chicago only has to give up a 5th round pick, and Miami gets rid of a QB whom now has no chance to start.

3) Our QB's should look like this - 1) Volek 2) Gus 3) Sage/Berlin

- Positives - 1) Gus isint starting :D 2) Not only got rid of touchy Feeley, but got a 5th round draft pick for him 3) Most obvious Got Billy Volek, a good, semi-young QB who is more than Gus and Feeley could ever wish they are. - Negatives - 1) Lost our 2006 6th round draft pick 2) Lost D Bo - Looks good, I could defitnely live with that. The positives defitnely outweigh the negatives.

Next Year:

- Just a breif summary here.

1) Release Gus.

2) Draft a QB in round 1.

3) Starting QB's - 1) Volek 2) Rookie 3) Sage

Next:

1) Either Voleks contract runs up, gets traded, or gets released.

2) Sage=goner.

3) Starting QB's - 1) Rookie 2) Berlin 3) ?

Man does that look good to me, like I said, a man can dream. I really dont think my trades are too farfetched, and if Saban wants this to happen I think he can make it happen. Either way whoever is starting under C come openeing day, I know it will be the right one, (Ha, thats something you couldent say when Wanny was here), because I believe (I sure most of you do too) that we have the best coach in the NFL. Let me know what you think, and if it could REALISTICLY happen. Thanks.

This is not Madden football, would never happen.

1. Titans know McNair is a sneeze away from the DL, and it would cost more then a 6th pick and Bowens.

2. After seeing him in person, why would the Bears trade for AJ???

So you think that we could get Volek for a career backup DE and a 6th, but the Bears will want to give up a 5th for AJ Feeley????

I love how stupid everyone thinks that other teams around the league are!! Why do you think that these teams would agree to these horrible trades?? For the betterment of the Dolphins??

1) I dont know if Mcnair is a sneeze away from the DL. I heard he came to camp in almost the best shape of his life and if everyone else really thinks that he is so injury prone, then why would Volek want to be traded? You probably right, McNair will prob get smacked around and miss a few games, but if the Titans feel that Mcnair is in such great shape, then I could see them pulling the trigger, if they feel like he is the some old injury prone McNair, then they dont. I think D Bo for Volek sounds like a pretty fair trade to me, they need a DE we need a QB, you throw around a 6th round pick and things could really get going.

2) I understand but it wasent like he did horrible, they saw him go 4/7 (Not bad), and they also saw his reciever Derrius Thompson drop a pass that was rifled across the middle and dropped. I could see if we wanted a 3rd or 4th round pick, but a 5th or even 6th, even of Feeley turns out horrible, isint asking too much IMO.

I don't think it's possible either. And if we are waiting on a new rookie qb anyway, what is the point in trading for a qb now.

exactlly

you have to overpay for a QB anytime... (example alex smith number 1 pick... jaguars turning down 2nd round picks for garrard)... they are very expensive and bowens and a 6th would NOT do it... probably bowens and a 2nd rounder... but tenn isn't even looking to trade him, so i doubt it happens...

Garrard is still the guy I see as a possibility...

but beyond that...you need to draft and groom one...and the Dolphins really haven't. That needs to happen next year.

Volek is a career backup QB, Volek had been in the league for 5 years, has been in 18 games, and has started 9. Bowens has been in the league for 6 years, has been in 72 games, and started every game last year.

Volek was good when he got in, but not stellar, he started 8 games and had solid, great, and horrible performances. Bowens started every game as I had said, and did solid every game, ended the season with 41 tackles and 7 sacks.

I just dont see how this is for the bettement of any team. Titans need a DE. We are stacked at DE. We need a QB, the Titans have a clear-cut starter in McNair. Although they would LOVE to keep Volek as a 2nd string QB in case McNair gets hurt HE DOSENT WANT TO BE THERE, HE WANTS TO START. We could throw in Gus or Rosenfels in the trade if they feel to weak below McNair, im not saying it will go down exactly like I have it, I am just saying that I belive there is a good chance that if this trade was perposed that this could happen.

I could see the Bears giving a 5th or 6th for Feeley eaisly, It isint like giving up a 2nd round choice, if Feeley dosent pan out for them there only giving up a 5th or 6th, it isint something there going to look back and regret.

again QBs are expensive, david garrard, jaguars backup, started 1 game, and has been in the league 3 years now i think... and the jaguars were turning down a 2nd round pick for him... in 2001 matt hasselbeck never starting a game or throwing more than 20 attempts for green bay was traded for a 3rd round pick and they swapped 1st rounders so the packers could move up like 10 spots... and he was a former 6th round pick unproven like crazy...

QBs do not come cheap, especially one who actually got some playing time and played well last year...

I thought about that, but I dont see a rookie coming in next year and being a Godsend, I see what you mean, thats why I would only want Volek a year or 2. The way I look at it, hes the best option if we decide to take a QB in round 1 next year. We get 2 good years out of him, give the Rookie a year to figure out the system and groom him and then start him the next year. Let me ask you this, would you rather have Volek or Gus starting? I would rather Volek. Thats why I dont really want Gararrd (sp), hes young 26? something like that, if he came in he would be good for 4,5,6 years something like that, with Voleks age, 29, I see him being a year 2 or 3 gap filler till we get our Rookie ready. I would rather draft a QB that we feel confident about than have to trade for one ala Garrard, to be our QB for many years. Volek is also more proven, IMO, than Garrard (sp).

Bowens is an okay DE, but look what happened to Wale when he did not have JT at the other end. Bowens is an okay DE that fits into a rotation. Trade him to the Titians and those stats go way down!

That was the point, get him so we have a solid QB for this and next year (I dont see Gus or AJ as being "solid"), as we groom a rookie.

Feeley's contract makes it impossible to trade him unless he agrees to renegotiate it. I like the idea of Volek, but I think it'll take more than a 6th and Bowens. Maybe a 4th and Bowens or a 3rd outright.
