Some persepctive on Dion Jordan

Who should be judged is Ireland for picking him in the first place. If the Colts had drafted Andrew Luck when they had healthy Peyton, would he have been a bust sitting behind Peyton for one year or even three even when you knew his talent was top class? The GM judged the fact that it was worth it to get a stud even if you have studs in front of him.

None of you guys have come up with a legit criticism of his play beyond the fact he isn't starting and you don't even want to touch the fact of which defensive end should be sit to have him play. So we play the switching him to LB game, but the spot he would be best suited for is filled with a guy we just made a big commitment to.

Ireland was judged probably the reason he got booted out the door. He made a bad call. Jordan wasnt a pick that was needed or necessarily wanted at least by the team. As for your arguement with. Manning and Luck . Peyton had just come off a neck surgery had lots of years on him. Luck was picked to replace Peyton.

I really can't believe how fast people want to make a judgement about who Dion Jordan is as a player. There is no way in hell you can determine how good or bad the pick of Dion Jordan is this soon. He started out behind because of his shoulder injury which didn't allow him to work on his strength. He was also a slight projection as a 4-3 defensive end. Personally, I have faith that this kid is going to figure it out and will be a great player. He is a freakish athlete who seems to have the desire and work ethic to be great. He was one of the team leaders at Oregon, and from all the chatter you hear about how Chip Kelly is still pining away for a chance to get his hands on Jordan is all I need to know about what type of player Kelly thinks Jordan is and can be.
