I don't totally disagree with you but having that big athletic monster sure helps the middle of a defense from getting run on. That's why the Saints brought in Rodgers and Franklin last year, they didn't have the big bodies to shut the run down. When you have a big guy like Solai who moves so well for a big man, he would be great in the middle for the run and collapsing the pocket.

Well that's what alot of ppl are not bringing up...there are alot of different types of 43's that teams can run..The Saints front actually looks more like a 34 then it does a traditional 43. There strong side end plays alot of 5 tech. Greg Williams loves to blitz the qb and you have to stop the run first to do that... Most 4-3 D's are built on speed more than anything else.
