Something about the D I have noticed

Do you realize the Dolphins only had one sack yesterday and that didn’t happen until the 4th quarter even though they were winning in blowout fashion from the 2nd quarter on . If Miami is going to play the way Fangio wants to play, without doing much blitzing, the front four has to greatly improve.

Like I said, room to grow, to get better, they absolutely do, but the most important point of a defense in my opinion is how they respond in pressure situations, and so far, they have done well.

I agree that they are not getting many sacks, but they are getting pretty consistent pressure, in time hopefully they will get better, but most importantly, they need to find ways to get off the field...Whether it be great coverage, successful pass rush, turnovers, or perfect timing tackling.

I care less about stats then results.

The tranny fluid seems like more of a you thing. Clearly since you brought it up, you have something on your mind. I was merely agreeing with the OP, offering up a bit of verbal guidance for future posts and you hit me with tranny fluid and bowling leagues?

Are you concussed? Tua?
A lot of mental leaps to get to this point. I bet you're a fun individual in person

Is this you?

They response when there back is against the wall because Fanigio changes his approach during those times, such as blitzes and coverage traps. During non critical times, he’s pretty vanilla, not showing his hand

If there was one move to make in season it would be to upgrade Jerome Baker.

Although he finally made a single play yesterday.
Luv ya bro but this schtick is old. It has obviously become personal to you for some reason.

Baker has played almost every snap for three different coaching regimes at this point. Are they all missing something?

I don’t think he is. Fangio was hired to fix the defense and so far the defense has been a huge disappointment. They need to play at a much higher level to compete against Buffalo. Buffalo’s defense is playing at a much higher level than Miami’s. It would be a shame to piss away such a prolific offense by having a defense that can’t even be average.
Meh. Entirely new system and philosophy for most of these players. Many assumed it would take until week 5 or 6 for it to come together.

I think that's reasonable in this case

Still learning a new system and what pieces work better where against actual opponents. Their time will come.
I agree with this, nothing is fixed with a snap of the fingers, it does take time and putting players where they can thrive best (while covering for weaknesses of players as well). We also do not have the best of defensive roster at this time either. We wont dominate, but can definitely become a great defense that may bend, but not break. Keep teams out of the endzone!!!
