Something brewing with JT?

During yesterday's game, JT is sitting in the suite with Ross and this exchange happens...

Then later that night, JT tweets this. He later deletes the tweets.

:err:

That is exactly the look the entire team should have from coaches to every single player. JT hated to lose (Still does), and maybe the team needs someone to light a little fire under them.

honestly, people like to rag on Ross as an owner, but he seems pretty pissed about losing, too. at least he seems to care and maybe will make the right move here.

twitter is buzzing today about this and the chatter coming out of the Dolphins. There is a lot of dysfunction over there and guys that aren't happy. It's not good stuff to hear.

I ALMOST feel bad for Ross. He deluded himself into believing Philbin was some kind of savant... Well, he isn't even an idiot savant, he's just an idiot.

I don't feel bad for him. He extended Sparano, He extended Ireland and he bumbled both the coaching and GM search.

Dumb comment dude. All I see in that vid is an owner who's upset and cares. Ok, maybe he doesn't know much about running the team but at least he's not Jerry Jones who does it in spite of himself. He's starting to hire the right people now, give it time, Ross is a smart man who will get it right. But to say he's a clown??? Grow up dude

How do we know he is starting to hire the right people now? Ross is a smart man when it comes to certain things, football so far not so much. being a billionaire does not make him a smart owner. The NFL is full of rich men that have made smart decisions in something. I love the comment at least he is not Jerry Jones lol yea Jones is so horrible he has three superbowl championships as an owner while Ross in five years as owner has never put out winning product

I was one of them who ragged on Ross. But he is learning. He did great strides with the new season ticket holder packages. The organization is now much closer to its most loyal fans. A lot of events in the offseason.

He also showed his commitment (finally) to the Dolphins with the stadium upgrades. Going through with it despite being rejected by counties and cities for direct tax payer investment is a big step forward.

He is still dealing with the mistakes from the past but I have no doubt that he will overcome them. In my book he moved up from one of the worst owners to an acceptable one. It is up to him to make the step to a great owner.

Ross has a great chance to start anew. Tom Garfinkel "gets it". Allow Marino more of a role...look to JT. However, find a coach that can set a culture of mental toughness and the ability to have players follow. A new QB as the face of the franchise. Jettison some bad contracts. The renovations start...maybe the hope is around the corner.

The renovations are actually quite an investment. Most upgrades would include increasing the capacity or at least hold current capacity. Ours does not. As a matter of fact we drop the capacity by 10,000. A great owner hires the right people and let them do their jobs. I think Ross is on its way there.
Garfinkel has done a fantastic job on the business side. Increasing the season ticket holder base in the offseason despite that disastrous season, media slug fest during the GM search etc was a master piece. They not only stopped people like me to finally drop the season tickets they actually got new fans interested.
The game day experience is much better (flawless free wifi), the new Dolphins app for season ticket holders is improved, the connection to the organization in the offseason (may I mention yacht party) is much better, informative and makes you feel part of it. The stale taste of being a person who just carries the money to see a bad product is gone.

The only thing we have to improve is the production on the field. We do have a competitive team. Nobody can tell me that we could not win in Buffalo or against KC which has a horrendous defense. We should have put up 30 on them. The question now is if the coaches do their jobs and say "enough is enough" or if they hang themselves.
Ross wants to win now. He wants to reach at least the playoffs this year. Considering that last year we were looking at the playoffs with an 8-6 record I don't see that this is entirely impossible. While we still have to fill holes to make a serious push for the Superbowl this team is better than last year's. But for that we have to score points. After all the changes on offense (improved OL, added Moreno, added young talent to the WR corps. no OC, no playbook) there is only one constant left: Ryan Tannehill. If he does not improve significantly against the Raiders he should be benched. He has to be benched. No current season ticket holder (including myself) will stand by and see this team go 4-12 or 6-10 just because someone has wet dreams about QB or doesn't want to hurt his feelings. The loss for a subpar season would be tremendous for the organization.
Ross will not allow to tank the season. Too much is at stake for him and the Dolphins.

Well said P4E.
As far as the stadium i'll take the opinion of someone who actually attends the game over the nay sayers any day.
As far as the team i think Ross stuck it out with Tony one season too long and will not make the same mistake with Joe. 9 wins or he's a goner.

I have been a season ticketholder since ..... forever. When I was 18 I took over my dad's tickets because he just got to old. LOL. At 30 I got my own.
I am going to the Dolphins since my dad took me. I remember who we played and that we won. December 1970. Boston Patriots. I was 7 years old. The following years my dad took me once in a while. At age 12 he got an extra ticket for me. I think since then I have missed maybe a dozen games. I am now 51.
