Good post. Hadn't noticed because I don't really watch these other guys play. That said, the coach has to be the primary motivator and I'm not sure Philbin has it in him - cue cards and all. We need more player-leaders to get this team riled up!

That's the problem "you think" you don't know, there is so much bull****ting going around that I don't believe anything the press has to say.
I see both sides of the coin. I'm a quiet player vocally but play my balls off while still being a leader on the team. However, I do agree teams do well with a mix between the personalities.
Lets just hope our 11 on the field want to smack the other 11 back to where they came from every week.

That may be true, I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, just giving my observations. Seems like hickey thought our team was missing something and is trying to change that

Not sure if he'll be an upgrade or not but what I do know is that I've been watching him since Highschool and he plays with reckless abandon and extreme passion, something Clemons didn't do.
