Something to Ponder Over(Updated to clarify)

First off let me say that Im totally onboard with drafting Luck and keeping him, BUT this randomly came to mind. So let me begin.

What would your reaction be if we had the chance to draft Luck, AND we do, but we end up trading him for x players and x pics on draft day. An example: Rivers/Manning deal on draft day. Thoughts???
 
Ill take Rivers or Manning but at this point, no other QB in the draft looks to be at the level that Luck is at. He can come in and take the Phins to the playoffs next season. IMO, he is the only QB in next years draft that can do that ​right now.
 
no way would i trade luck, similar to what happened in 04.

also, u gotta remember, the only reason the chargers traded manning to the giants was because manning did not want to play for san diego.

i would be mad if we did that... luck is head and shoulders more talented and has more upside than any other QB in this draft
 
it takes a lot of sucking and timing just to get luck-y. no way. no oldies for youngies.
 
I would be ****ing livid if we had a chance to draft Luck and traded him.
 
If we are in position to take him what do you think other teams would offer for the pick?

I think the trading teams 1st & 2nd round picks plus their 1st in 2013 AND an elite player from their roster MINIMUM

Im not giving up the #1 for anything less than two 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd and atleast one starter for my team.
 
I thought you were going to say should Vikes choose Luck - Ponder would be avavilable in a trade - no??

Well we seen it once with what happend with Ricky when he got drafted. The whole draft plus some picks the following year and it wasnt even for the 1st overall. We traded two 1st for Ricky is I remember right. So the list of picks and players included that we could get for the number 1 overall could be huge. BUT I still would keep Luck.

No nothing to do with that guy. I was saying say we Draft Luck but in the end end up trading him on draft day for some huge deal. What would be the reaction from you the fan.
 
Luck is head and shoulders better than any other QB prospect in the last ten years. Eli Manning and Philips Rivers aren't in the same conversation.
 
Well to be truthful people would have said the same thing about trading Eli manning for Phillip Rivers and in the end Rivers seems the better quarterback so who knows.
