Man you have no clue, besides this year who do you think had the final say in personnel, Dave! You realy need to think before you post, you are not even close to being all there!RHoffman said:thats been in the books for 3 years...
but thats not the only problem...the GM has DONE NOTHING...please, please
understand that.
There is no way around the salary cap, pal. But I'll be glad to let you continue blaming Rick if it makes you happy as clearly you are about to have a stroke over this.tomas101 said:your a fuking idiot...there are ways around it...smart ***
RHoffman said:there will still be "people" trying to defend Rick Spielman even though he has done absolutely nothing here.
He has drafted poorly...
He has not signed one really significant free agent...
and his calling card trade blew up in his face...
:fire:
What the heck is wrong with you people?
mbmonk said:2 games in and we have passed judgement on the GM already? Wow. I thought it took longer than that to make a judgement on GM's
This guy you responded to shouldn't be allowed to post, because he couldn't buy a clue to what is going on, and who is to blame!Timmy54 said:Are You nuts?? I know we are all upset at a loss that we thought we should win. And yes this O-line is horrendus. But to place the blame on RS is crazy, lets look at your reasoning
he has drafted poorly--He has had only one draft. First round he knew he needed o-line help, and V. Carey was the absolute best that was availble at his pick. It is not RS fault that we had the 20th pick!!!! He even moved up to get a guy that everyone in the NFL thought would be a starter out the gate. Now V. Carey has progressed slowely but that is on the coaching staff. Then RS goes and gets the steal of the draft in Will Poole (he looks pretty damn good) and some other quality young guys. Not a super draft but with what he had to work with, he did not have a hight draft pick to get Gallery or S. Andrews, so I say pretty good job.
He has not signed one significant free agent. Umm can we say Boston??? It is not RS fault he got hurt, he did bring him in. Then seeing the scope of the problem, he traded O-gun for Booker and Gordon. Rick is making moves to try to win, this o-line is not good enought for anyone in the NFL to be sucessful behind. And yes, he did try to get other quality linemen. One guy (someone help with the name??) refuted our offer of more money to play with his old o-line coach and less money in Chicago. Not RS fault. He was also outbidded on 2 others of even questionalbe talent trying to improve this sore spot. He does need to do something with the O-line but I do see the effort there.
Rs has not even been around one season. His big guy, AJ really hasnt had a chance yet due to no time and pressure with Dave and Feidler. The more time he has with the offensive unit, the better he will be but the oline will stop us from doing anything until they learn to block somebody, anybody.
Lets not kid ourselves guys. This offensive was in trouble when RS walked in the door, and tho he has improved the talent and skill postitions, We have no line and the skill guys will not have time to shine. This offense is a work in progress and we will just have to see what RS brings to the table in the next off season before the fire him chant should go up. As for Dave, Well he my freinds in on such an hot seat, his but is on fire!!!!
Rick, over the past few seasons has done nothing except scout talent. DAVE has been the GM and had the FINAL DECISION one who is signed and who plays. But you are still insistent on blaming Spielman? I think you are just trying to start another witch hunt.RHoffman said:I'll take my track record over yours any day...
what do you think Rick has been doing for the last few years...
twiddling his thumbs...
oh wait, I guess he has...
Oh and Einstein, Spielman is the GM and is in charge of personnel...
If Wanne does still somehow have final say...
then that says even less about your good buddy Rick.
He didn't have the final say, your boy Dave did, why don't you come to the table and recognize that? It will take Rick some time to get there, after he fires you boy Dave, then the process will speed up quite a bit! Are we watching the same team?RHoffman said:I'll take my track record over yours any day...

John Tait or Damien Woody would've been nice if we didn't screw up both.ABrownLamp said:we attempted to get the best OL available...WTF ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?????????????? Who would you have gotten...morons
You can get as hostile as you want, but you may want to actually watch a game before you post there professor! It not just my opinion, but others on this thread agree, you don't even have the slightest of a clue! I am just trying to point these these items nicely, rather than being a butt head!RHoffman said:are you 40 or 4?
