Pouncey is trying to get medical clearance so he can begin practicing with the team. This would take him off PUP.

pouncey is on PUP now, but some kinda weird preseason PUP. what he wants to avoid is being placed on regular season PUP, which means you sit out the first six weeks of the season. you can come off preseason PUP at any time before the season starts (a la knowshon).

Where do you get that? He was practically non-existent in camp reports this year. Williams and even Darkwa show up in reports more than he.
