Sports Buzz- Pats asked Thigpen for hand signals/ More Harbaugh talk

What's Jack Harbaugh doing these days?

Apparently both his sons send him that weeks game tape on Mondays and he then sends them his notes. He does not however help his son-in-law break down basketball film of Indiana.

Now to add on what I said about John, it's more likely that you could get him away from Baltimore (even if it isn't Michigan) than it is to get Jim away. John has too much pride in his team to just quit, but he is not exactly happy working for that organization anymore, and it goes deeper than the Ray Rice issue.

Michigan's top 2 choices if/when Brady Hoke is fired are the Harbaughs. Jim gets the most attention being one of the most popular players in Michigan history but John (despite not going to Michigan) loves the school just as much, if not more, than his brother. John did contact school officials when Rodriguez was fired but was given a brand new huge contract. with Baltimore. But those close to the situation have said that even with a new contract after that and winning the Super Bowl, John feels like the organization doesn't appreciate him. If Michigan contacts him he'll listen.

Jim's interested too, but the wife is a harder sell for him than it is for John.

I don't think Jim is as enthusiastic with going back to college, either. The recruiting is a drag and it would be an obvious step down without having first conquered the pro game.

There are a lot of rumors about what his wife wants or prefers but this is someone who grew up in the Kansas City area so it's not like the Midwest and bad weather would be new to her. She didn't move out to the West Coast until after she and Harbaugh got married six years ago.

please dont bring tannebum in the door...i'm flat floored if moreno plays sunday...

I have little use for Joe, but Mike Tannenbaum leading a HC search scares me even more.

RGIII being the youngest player to post 100+ passer rating and getting a playoff win his first season is also impressive.

I must have missed that one. Thought I remembered cashing a ticket on Seattle after trailing 14-0 before scoring the final 24 points of the game, while Robert Griffin splattered face first on the turf near his goal line.

No big deal. roy miami normally is as accurate as it gets with details and stats.

Anyway, too bad nyjunc isn't around, with so much talk about Sanchez. Not exactly complicated. The Jets smartly ran the ball 40ish times throughout those playoff runs. Dan Marino's playoff record would be considerably better if the Dolphins ran the ball 40 times, instead of let's say 8 at the Chargers in 1994. Both years the Jets would warm up for the playoffs with a huge rushing attempt number nearby 50. I think once it was well above 50. Then it carried over to the playoffs in the 40 range. They actually got impatient in both AFC title games, if I recall, with fewer rushes than normal in the first half, even though they led the Broncos game early.

6. I am glad Coach Belichick downloaded Thigpen and Jones...it really seemed to help in the second half.

And yet we had so many people crying about it.

I think they forgot the game still had to be played out on the field.

people want to explain away success however they can, well unless their team is the successful one.

That worthless ***** Martin should be humping Harbaugh's leg.

Talk about ungrateful.

What a worthless tool of a human being.
