You commit to it and everything gets paid for you still have to pay once everything is booked. My friends and I had to back out of a trip on Labor Day weekend and we still had to pay.

If thats the case maybe Incognito committed it for him. I mean seriously who knows this will be all found out. Right now its bad we lost two starters neither of which were playing very well in pass protection but were better tha their backups.
I still think there is something to the story because I dont think Martin had some grand scheme to make InCognito look bad makes no sense but hell anything is possibe. The guy started 23 straight games for us so I dont think all of a sudden he just gave up on football for no reason

Murtha is saying he verbally committed. Obviously the response can be the ever popular "prove it" "recording" blah blah blah, but this represents a logical explanation.

Murtha feels like he committed or maybe he knows but he doesnt know if he was pressured to commit in background or if they assumed he did.
Murtha could be speaking all truth from his perspective, when all is said it done we probably still wont know

Still thats his perception. Seems like Martin was never comfortable being dealt with in those ways. In reality we dont know what the actual complaints are but his perception its not bullying or whatever but in the victims context who knows.
Or so called victim. People that are bullied are seldom the most popular. As for his comment on things will never change in football, I wouldnt be so sure on that esp with all the publicity now.

It just seems Martin is not comfortable around grown men, never mind farther than arms reach away from his parents.

Don't understand the hype about this article. Lydon was teammates with both from April to August of 2012. Last I checked this was 2013. Not condoning what Martin did to this team BUT Murtha hasn't been on the team in WELL over a year. The dynamic of Martin and Richie's relationship could've easily changed within that time period.

Never said anyone was lying I said their perception of what was going on might have been different than reality. Who is anyone to say how Martin should feel about how he was treated if he felt he was being treated badly. Most bullied people are not the most popular he was the so called big weirdo for a reason. maybe he tried to fit in and it didnt work, maybe he actually didnt like being called a half n word or having remarks made about deficating on family members. We are dealing with alot of dynamics here. Maybe Martin is concocting all this but maybe he is not and maybe in this lockerroom culture that thinks verabage like this is ok they missed that

He says the staff knows everything that goes on. If it comes out Philbin lied about knowing, he's in trouble

It's possible that both things are true. That the staff wanted Richie to get to know Jonathan and bring him into the fold, so to speak.

And it's also possible that to all outside appearances (and I believe the players on this, honestly), that it looked like it was working. And that Jon NEVER complained to Joe about it.

The way I see it.....Martin is not to blame, he is a weak minded person and needs help.....Cog's was set up by he FO and coaches by putting him in charge of beating the punk out of Martin....Ireland knew what was happening did nothing and when it hit the fan he suspends Cog's and used him as the scapegoat......the players coming out yesterday defending Cog's show's how much they have each others back.....they knew Cog's was being railroaded by the Dolphins....I honestly believe Martin thinks he was bullied but he was not treated differently by the others.....this mess was handled poorly by the FO, if they did what they should have, Martin would be getting his help and Cog's would be suited up on Monday and we wouldn't be national news......Ireland can not be the GM after this yr......

What facts have I steered away from. Player perceptions are not exactly fact thats their view.
I dont have a side in this case if my team was wrong then they were wrong.
