Spragan

I think it's great that you can take critisism for a bad idea/opinion but you go past that and attack the person instead of their idea or opinion. That is the issue you have. example: beacause I asked you you to stop bickering (your opinion on who should start became personal on who was the less knowledgeble fan) You shot back in your 1st sentence that I have to learn the message board. Which had nothing to do with nothing, except trying to attack me personally.

Basically argue the opinion not the person or else your point is lost... :shakeno:

What??? Did you even read what I said?

If his knee holds up, you can bet your @ss he will start. He plays the run well, and can run sideline to sideline. He's big, athletic, and has everything it takes to play SAM.

Nick stated right after we drafted him that our LB's will play where they fit the best. Crowder fits great besides Zach and Junior.

I tend to agree with Vandolphin here, crowder is the least experienced of the bunch..he will play a lot this year if he's physically able to..but Spragan is the man for now..if any body beats him out, it'll be moore or Corey, most likely Moore.

i really have not seen much of spragan but to tell ya the truth i was never big on greenwood.from everything i hear even from a couple of bronco fans is that he is a very good and smart player just like brushki from the patsies.this guy has the size saban likes 6'3 and the guy just does not make mistakes never blows an assignment.

 It ain't bickering man. I guess you still have some to learn about this message board.

I love all Fin fans here. It ain't bickering. Sometimes we just disagree on small issues, that's all.

I think Channing will start, he thinks Donnie will start. So what?

We all root for the same squad. It's all good in tha brotha hood! :D

Thats right its all good.

Is there a link that type of info on him....and how does everyone seem to know what Saban likes in players..I though he just struck to the idea prototype player size that most NFL teams use. What's different about his type?

Neither one of those can hold a candle to Crowder's athletic ability.

..........and neither one of the others have serious concerns about the health of their knees like people in the league have about Crowder. At this point none of them are that far apart from each other. But the biggest spot Crowder lacks is experience in the pros........... which is to be expected.......he's a rookie.

...just like the "others" in the league had questions about Willis Mcgahee's knee.

Not trying to argue, just making a point. Channing will be awesome.

.......and for every Willis there's a Yatil Green......... I think it's great you've got some optimism for Channing.......but you're forcing it down people's throats when the best thing to do is take a wait and see approach. He's just a rookie. There's a reason he fell so far on draft boards, it's because of his knee injury report which is as thick as a Hardy Boys novel.

...Ok, forcing it "down people's throats???" What am I, CNN, here???

He fell also because of his college incidents. Not just because of his past surgically repaired knees. You look on this board, the majority has faith in Channing.

His injuries are far in the past, he played 2 full seasons at FU without a problem. ;)

No........he fell because of health concerns with his knees coupled with his off-field conduct history. I'm not talking about having faith in Channing. Of course we're going to be. Sheeeeeee-it 80% of the people have blind faith in every single move Saban's made thus far and that's to be expected, he's brought back some excitement to this franchise. However Channing doesn't have anything to stand on yet when it comes to how he'll perform. Take Derrick Johnson for example - that man is expected to have impact right away. That's not the buzz about Crowder. He's got the potential, but he's got a lil' time to go.

OK, I can go with that. Good post.

Just read Nick Saban's "How Good Do You Want to Be?"

It'll make you feel all warm and gooey inside. we are in good hands, my bro. ;)

And Crowder is a MLB, I know, we all think that he was drafted to play OLB, but how many times have you seen a MLB move to the outside, I have seen the oposite because OLB are so athletic, but it has not really worked very well (considering Urlacher was a one hit wonder) so what makes you think Saban did not draft Crowder so he can take over for Zach either when Zach goes down or whenever he leaves the team (wouldn't like that but new coach, there is no sacred person on the team) .

Spragan will probably start, in fact I am almost sure he will start. I would wonder if Seau will (after all we did want to release him) . But I think Crowder will only start if our MLB goes down with injury.

Brian Urlacher, rookie year.

..............eh that's a half truth..........truthful in the fact that yes, we we're going to release him...........but we were going to release him because of his cap numbers. He obviously had value to the team in form of leadership, experience, and a little left in the tank (I mean hell he was on a tackling rampage before he tore his pec muscle) ........ so Saban kept him on board, at a reduced rate mind you.
