Stadium looked empty / worst fans in the NFL

Yeah i watched the game, and noticed they only showed the fans at the beginning of the game and right after half time. They also shot to the very top corner of stadium a couple times, but failed to show the crowd after a huge play when you could here the Dolphin faithfull erupting.

I'm telling you CBS coverage sucks. The only time they show the Phins fans is when they have an opportunity to show empty seats. They never show the fans going crazy after a Phins score. And Brian Dumbal needs to hang it up. So many blurbs he simply isn't a professional.

Man this photo sure shows lots of empty seats huh?

NOT !!!!

I really like this pic because the background is right where I sit? As a matter of fact I'm sitting directly to the right of Marions left elbow.

:D

is it true that, during the miami-oakland playoff debacle, a fin fan got beat senseless and pissed on? that is REPREHENSIBLE!!!

:monkey: loser freak fanatics(of any team) who cant hold their alcohol
I would post something about this raider thing...but just can't get past your name.......Fiedler for MVP???? That's hilariously funny...almost to the point of being insane.

I've been to PPS many of times and the stadium concessions situation sucks. I was at the Phins/Panthers game last year and I spent almost 15 to 20 minutes after the second half began in the concession line waiting for french fries... I was so pissed. I was watching the game at home today and the only time they realy showed the crowd was before kickoff and right after halftime, trust me.... most people were at the concession stands....

Thats why i bring my girl to the few games i went to. She isn't as crazy about seeing every min so she waits in line.

I went to a game in Oakland once, in 1998. Those were the most obnoxious, rude, and coarse fans I have ever seen. They are also scary in the parking lots. Also what they say to their own Raiderettes is cruder and more explicit than what is said in most porno movies.
Just to add the prices up there are more expensive than everywhere else. A 1998 ticket was $71(2001 Seattle was $60, San Francisco $50, San Diego $49) and the programs were $7(everywhere else there are $4 to $5).

By "opinionated" fan are you referring to the fact that you're really a bitter Patsies fan lurking on our site? Get over yourself as Jay Fiedler has had one bad game and four very good ones thus far. Before you go spouting off with your pathetiv opinions, think first.

Yup...

... Especially on a hot day like that ppl tend to hang out by the food areas and watch the game on the TV's. They also do that to socialize and talk about the game. I've noticed this happens when the Dolphins blow a team out in the 1st half. They go looking for opposing fans and rag on them. :D

My dad was at the game, he said it was a full house. The thing is, you probably saw the seats after half time, it takes the fans like five minutes to get back to their seats...

But it was a full house... :D

Please it's not PPS it's JRS...

Well, I was there and there was over 73,000 screaming fans at PPS today. Although, the few seats that aren't taken, the backs are orange so it makes it look like more missing people than there really are. But it got pretty loud today, I was also impressed with how many Patsies fans showed up. They had a couple sections totally filled with red white and blue.

I know what you all are talking about now!

... there is a camera station on south west side of the stadium, it's high up, real high up. This is where the stadium camera is and where the NFL tapes the coaches tapes for the entire NFL to view. The thing with this camera station is that it is at the very top of the stadium so the angle makes the stadium look empty when it's actually not. The color of the seats are so intense orange all you see are the backs of the chairs. There have been games I'm at where no one left their seats, but when you saw it it on TV it looked half empty from some camera angles.

you go onto the concourse while the game is going on...even a blowout and you count the people.....if you get a handful alomg the entire sodeline I say that is high....

I know because once in the second quarter I had to go realllly bad to the bathroom...normally I hold it because I hate to miss a second of the game....but that time I did it....I didn't see a soul.....

plus if the stands are full..how many people can you really have on the concourses...

absolutely

it is a nitemare....

One of the reasons is...most concession stand workers are volunteers from youth groups, high schools etc...very few paid personel.....

They have like 200 people back there (for each concession stand) but nobody is really doing anything. How assinine is that that you know that halftime is coming up and they have to cook your fries first when you order?

Or getting a bottle of water....here is the bottle of water deal...

after standing in line for 30 minutes for one bottle of water you place your order....the lady screams in the back "one bottle of water"...then you wait....and wait...and wait...mobody is responsible for bringing you the bottle of water....and while you wait...you have your 5 (!!!) dollar bill ready to pay....but nobody rings you up......and the people behind you wait.....and wait ...and wait.....finally the water arrives...ad you hand her the 5 dollar bill.....don't give her a 10...she may not have change available....

It is a nightmare....I don't even bother anymore....to make it back in time for the second half you have to stand at the gate and run to the concessions immediatly.....if you arrive there 3 minutes after haltime started you will miss the first 2 or 3 possesions for sure....and forget about buying different things (different concession stands)...u never make it back....
