Start A Franchise With Tannehill?

This board needs to stop trying to make another QB happen. It’s not happening. The draft should have been sign enough that Tannehill is the guy Gase wants behind Center.

When the Jags and Panthers started a franchise, did they use a veteran or a rookie QB? The Panthers drafted Kerry Collins to star and he stayed there only 2 years.
The Jags had Mark Brunnell, who was a veteran and stayed 7 seasons with a couple in the playoffs.
So history says in at least one comparison, the veteran was the better choice.
Tannehill under Gase would be my choice. Tannehill under Philbin, hell no.

Tannehill. I'm of the opinion that terrible teams can ruin good young QBs, so I would not want to use a high value pick on QB until the rest of the team is talented enough to not get him killed.

Tannehill will be 30 when the season starts. If you're starting a franchise, they probably won't be ready to do.any meaningful winning for a few years (if everything goes well). By that time, Tannehill will be at or near the end. Draft a guy.
