On the other hand, he needed to do this press conference and the fact that a game is going on tonight allows it to blend with the game. If it happened tomorrow, that is all people would talk about. He was able to blur the two together and the players aren't going to hear what he said until after they play anyways.
 
I am surprised noone asked him about covering up the Incognito golf course incident... He says we will not stand for bullying in the locker room, but I guess sexual harassment of female volunteers by players at team events is A-OK!
 
He gets an F for damage control

He gets an F for managerial skills

He gets an F for knowing when to keep his mouth shut

he gets an F for being a leader of men

he gets an F for standing up for the franchise that he OWNS for Christ's sake

and he gets an I for incomplete on his public speaking skills.

He should be focused on DAMAGE CONTROL and STEERING the FRANCHISE that he owns and is the steward of thru this
morass of sentimentality. Instead he caved quicker than a lemming bends down to eat lichens :puke:
 
He is smart to bring in Tony Dungy.

Dungy has a pulpit every Sunday evening and is very well respected by the average football fan.
 
I heard an ESPN analyses say that most in the league are baffled as to why Ireland is still with the Miami Dolphins. Funny. :lol:
 
Steve, JM isnt going to tell you anything. His lawyers have this all under their control.
 
I thought Ross bounced back pretty well when answering questions from the press.

But the start was pretty rough to listen to.

He lives in New York. He probably only got his news from WFAN... He has NO pulse on this team.

ireland was not mentioned as he is not a part of the day to day operations of the coaching staff and players. he is on this new committee to enforce the standards the other committee deems appropriate. he is staying, and did not need to be mentioned by ross.
