#Dolphins owner Stephen Ross believes Miami is a "Dolphins town" and says the #Heat are obviously different without LeBron James around.

A heat beat writer tweeted he was told by sources that Micky Arison merely laughed and continued what he was doing when someone rad him the comments by Ross.

Ross needs to keep his mouth shut and just make the playoffs. I'm a Heat season holder post lebron and have long since canceled my Dolphins's season tickets for a reason. Just ****ing win do and stop trying to be something that the team is not yet.

:impatient: Waiting for this to hit the Depths for proper response.

Takes a shot at Heat? Did you go to the Omar Kelly school of writing?

He said the Heat are not the same without LeBron...and he's right. How is telling the truth the same as taking a shot?

Would people want him to say it is a Heat Town?

I'm sorry , I'm a heat fan .... But the Dolphins have had ****ty teams for years and us dolphins fans and miami has always loved the Dolphins ....

With the heat in pre - Wade Eddy Jones days that **** was ghost town for the most part. I'm not saying there wasn't fans.. But Miami is a Dolphins town. The heats success lately is why there are more heat " fans ".

This is a Miami Heat town, and was before LeBron. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone wearing anything related to the Dolphins for about 10 years or so. Also, it seems that since the early 2000's, everyone and their mother has a Miami Heat license plate on their car. Can't say the same about the Dolphins, or Marlins.

We "loved" the Dolphins so much that we had two playoff games blacked out in those years.

It's a stupid comment to make regardless of whether its true or not. The Heat have been the better run organization for over a decade and you wouldn't hear a pip out of them about this. Micky Arison has gone about and fielded 4 different teams that were capable of winning championships and managed to win 3 championships between 2 of those. Are the Heat different without LeBron? Sure but how about you prove that the Dolphins aren't the same old 8-8 Dolphins before you open your mouth about another team.

Who gives a darn about the NBA and certainly the Heat? Miami Heat fans whine too much!

Yeah thank god they don't black out those NBA games because there would be a whole **** load back then

Exactly. The current Heat team looks like it can make a deep playoff run this year if healthy. We don't even know if the Dolphins can make it to .500 with that crappy OL.

Haha, it's more a fairweather fan city. If the team is winning they root for it, if not they pretend the team doesn't even exists. It's been that way since the 80's. In the 70's you'd be lucky to get a ticket to the Dolphins in the Orange Bowl. Once Miami became a more transient city and all the South American's started moving there the city lost it's spirit.

I think this is being taken out of context a little bit .

He's the dolphins owner .... And this has always been a dolphins #1 town.

If you asked anyone in Miami what you would rather see

A heat championship or a dolphins Superbowl ....

People would say dolphins Super Bowl over and over and over again

Thats also because we've actually ya know....seen Heat championships recently so its not something we would have to wish to make happen. You don't wish for something that you've seen 3 times in the last like 8 years.

So the Heat fans are butt hurt because the Dolphins owner says the Heat are a different team without Lebron and shows enthusiasm for his own team.

Really???
