Sterling Sharpe has just said the Dolphins need to win out and

what if the dolphins lose tommorow and both cincy/ravens win. what kind of scenerio are they looking at ?

Wow... Is your goal to try and Troll the forums or do you really just not know?

I have never really looked at the actual standings within conferences and head-to-head play, so I entrust what I read and hear on the Networks, and on here.

Hell I'v see blown penalties and non-calls made on TV, it goes to show people make mistakes, and there are many things I don't understand.

All I know is of today, we're not in the playoffs, hopefully tomorrow we'll have a clearer picture.

If the Phins win out and Balt. Wins out, Phins are still in due to the fact the Bengals lost that last game against Balt. That means the Bengals have the same record as the Phins and Phins hold the tiebreaker because they beat them earlier in the season.

Thanks, I just hope we win out. It's going to be cold and rainy tomorrow. I have this feeling its going to be a close game.

Best thing for the Phins to do is win out, they do that theyre in regardless of what Balt. on Cin. do. Either Balt. or Cin. is going to lose that last game.

Look this just hit me like a ton of bricks, what Sterling said is correct. These are my words now, and not Sterling's, and the way I am seeing this now, well, is this:

Our game tomorrow is without question, a must win game, so please hear me out, Thumper.

Let's just say we lose to the Bills tomorrow, and the Ravens beat the Patriots (which I feel they will), the Patriots now clinch the AFC East, right?

Now lets say the Bengals beat the Vikings, which I feel they should easily win this game. That would put the Bengals at 10-5, right? and the Ravens at 9-6?

So now We'd be at 8-7, and now it becomes very clear what Sterling Sharpe was saying, now in the above example, there's no way can we ever catch up to the Patriots, because they'd be 10-5 also, and the Patriots would win the AFC East Title, right?

So the last game between the Ravens and the Bengals will ultimately decide the last Wildcard spot.

In short, what Sterling Sharpe has said is 100% accurate.

If we even expect to get into the playoffs, we need to first, win out, (all 2 games left, or at the very least win our first game tomorrow against the Bills) and then hope for the Patriots to drop their next 2 in a row, to have any chance of winning the AFC East or getting in as wildcard final spot, if the Patriots win 1 of their last 2 games.)

That stats I read were Ravens were favored slightly to get the last final slot, we were in second to win it, percentages wise.

For those that continue to vote NO or select NO, for whatever reason, you don't like me or what not, I accept that, but you cannot make an argument, that, politics aside, I am the best most honest and most articulate poster on here and for those of you that simply vote NO, for whatever reason (you hate me, because I like Moore or Devlin), I want you to to know, that I want us to win tomorrow, but I just state the facts as I see them and I want to be clear where we stand is my point.

If we lose tomorrow, we're done, I believe.

I got thrown off a bit when I heard we needed help, which I believe all Sterling meant was to win the AFC East, which makes sense now.

What you originally said, was:

I read a post on here, forget who said it, but if we won out, we'd get in, which is not true.

No one ever said this wasn't a must win game, it is. But you misunderstood Sharp to mean that even if we won, there was no guarantee we'd get a wildcard. We will. So all we have to do is win. Yes, if NE keeps losing, we can get the division, instead of a wildcard. If we lose to Buffalo, it's tough. We need help from other teams, then. For example, we need the chargers to win to force a 3 way tie. If the Ravens tank their season they'll be out at 8-8, so there's that.

Too bad moderators dont ban posters like this pathetic troll who keeps posting this nonsense over and over in multiple threads. It appears he may have some kind of fetish. I can only imagine what he does while reading these responses in some darkened corner...

I can't believe so many people are taking this guys bait.
