Stop Blaming Gus!!

Are you saying you want Jay back?

And so we threw away one of the best "technicians" in the game for this rube?

In Atlanta's post game interviews they admitted Linehan's tendencies changed their defense. Normally their defense is blitz happy, but they played zone to counter Linehan's plays. They also knew the last play was going to be a pass, because Ricky &Ronnie were on the field together for the 8th time and every time it was a pass.

It was very obvious.

How many times do you have to see him miss an open receiver before you realize that in those situations you do NOT PUT THE DAMN BALL IN HIS HANDS??!!!!

Its like gambling...do you take the easy money or keep going for the long odds that hit once every other month??

Scott Linehan and his playcalling is the reason we lost this game. Not Gus. We KNOW Gus is not the type of QB to make those plays....look at his recent history here, he has NOT made those kind of plays when we needed them most, so WHY ATTEMPT IT?

Your running backs are averaging 5+ yards a carry. A blind man could see that we were gashing their defensive front 7-8-9 men for 5+ yards almost every carry! Why not use that until it doesn't work anymore?

Fire Scott Linehan and this offense will improve.
Getting rid of Gus should be secondary because Scott will ruin any QB that isn't top 5!!

I totally agree with you.
We should run every play till the endzone.

On the other hand, Gus must did the pass, I mean, he is a NFL QB, and he can not put the football right there?? come on, that was not a 40 yds pass, that was a 4 yds long!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:

There are quite a few I agree with here. We all would have rather seen a run in the situation...

However, the QB still needs to know not to give the game away. Throw the ball away, or better yet run it yourself and slide... the Falcons dropped 8 in coverage. No pressure... just run up the middle.
