Stopped weed, started steroids

didnt he enroll in the program early, which would mean that he was tested already?

yep he did and he can be tested up to 15 times a month. when will we stop dogging this guy and just let the whole thing play itself out.

We will know soon enough. He's gonna be tested for everything under the sun like once a week if not more.

yup and where did you get this info from?

You despise rickey williams but probably have a McMichael jersey in your closet....

Actually I dont!!! So before you make accusations I would ask a question or two first! I despise Ricky Williams for quitting, but more so for the fact that once again professional atheletes get away with everything. This guy quits, walks out on his responsibility to his team mates, and has yet (to my knowledge)to even appologize. That is why I despise Ricky Williams, because he signifies all the things that are wrong with celebrities. They can do just about ANYTHING that they want to, and nothing will be done to them. I will never stop cheering for the Dolphins, but under absolutley NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I ever cheer for Williams!

He may never stop smoking weed as there are ways to beat the test, the same way he did before TGF Fast Flush or something, but i could care less. I don't think Ricky would do roids but what do i know.

Ricky said on his 60 Minutes intereview that he never needed steroids, and he looked pretty honest when he said it.

And mind you, he was pretty forthcoming in this interview. He took a lot of flack for it. I'd be very surprised if he was on anything illegal (edit: illegal performance-enhancers).

Although, crack can be performance-enhancing. It's amazing how much you can get done when you don't have to eat, sleep, or shower.

Ok Everyone...

One player saw Ricky in the elevator of the team headquarters and said that his muscles were looking like the incredible hulk. Could it be steroids this time?

1 month ago he was without any flesh or muscles, 2 weeks ago he became skinny, and now he is ripped .....Do you think it's because he knows his astro-body well or he is using some sorts or steroids to help him out...I'm surprised that he allready gained 35 pounds in 1 month (from 195 to 230) and myself I can eat an entire cow and not gain 1 pound. Ummmm Fishy....
you cant be serious...u obviously underestimate the body....

This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Bench, I hope we never see you on here complaining about how the media is always down on the Phins or how we "can't get anything positive about our team" If a man is skinny, he's smoking weed. If he's in shape and muscular, he must be on steroids. Instead of LOOKING for something to be wrong why don't we just support him as a player on our team until he gives reason to do otherwise. Why don't we just see what he's going to do next week? The closer we get to when we will get to see the facts, the more we start to talk garbage. TC is only a couple days away. We'll know then.

Um,i'm pretty sure he did give us a reason to doubt him. He failed several drug tests and quit the NFL. That's reason in my book.

Ricky Williams won't take steroids.
He's not that stupid, knowing the immense amount of proctoscopes (among other things) are about to be jammed up his ***.

Now THAT is funny.

So far in this thread there's been very little evidence that anybody knows what they're talking about. The "muscle memory poster" and a couple others have it right. Once you've had the muscle it is with the proper protein intake and a workout regimin pretty simple to re-gain the weight.

Steroids are done in cycles and usually put mostly water weight into the muscle fiber. This makes the muscle MUCH more prone for tears and trauma for an athlete in a contact sport. Anybody that put on water weight through a 6-week cycle would lose the bulk of it just from running around in two-a -days. All the while running the risk of tearing a thigh, groin or hamstring that would take 4-6 weeks to recover. No, this weight gain (if true) is all natural and probably influenced by 40-60 grams or more of protein per day (based on his activity) and perhaps an amino intake program and most likely some holistic mumbo-jumbo that may or may not have some impact. My concern would not be on if the muscle is natural, but if he's in RUNNING shape! That's where we'll see if he's ready. The old adage: Fatigue makes cowards of us all" could come into play here.

And by the way the posters noting the extra- scrutiny on his system are equally right.
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 60grams of protein a day huh? LOL..more like 200 grams a day..the only part you have correct is the first paragraph

I doubt it.

1. He is a professional athlete, and knows how to work out correctly. If he doesn't, he has some of the best trainers in the world to help him.

Athletes don't use steroids? If they don't, why would all these sports have testing? Or they don't need to? If they don't need to, why do all these athletes use them? They know if they get caught, they face suspension and it will cost them a lot of money.

I'm not saying Ricky is juicing. If I had to guess, I'd probably guess no. But to use the reason that "he is a professional athlete" as you basis for saying he isn't is weak.

This is hilarious!!! For those of you who do not like the fact that Ricky is back it appears to be a done deal. To come up with some crazy story about him being on roids is rediculous. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is a fan sight so anything goes. Love him or hate him. we have him. So you might as well HOPE that he does well because either way we are stuck with him.

Hey, he just posed a question. He didn't make up a story or accuse Ricky. He just posed a question.

P.S . David Bowens and Ronald Flemons will surprise in camp...

I would not jump to conclusions. He is on a diet and has the best in dietician and trainer(s) I'm sure. Plus, he was ripped before so it's not like his body is not meant to be that way. He's probably a mesomorph like many athletes. Also, this is his job now. It's not like he dedicates an hour a day to getting into shape like some 9 to 5er. I'd say don't panic.

You guys are nuts. Ricky's natural weight is about 225. He was eating plants and doing yoga and he dropped down to 195. If Ricky recommitted himself to a football workout in April, then there is no reason why he shouldnt be close to his playing weight by August. Hes getting drug tested like 2 times a week, and you guys think hes on steroids???

I haven't seen any recent pictures of what Ricky Williams now but until I do so, I don't think that he is on steroids or using marijuana at this time. If he is in on either, it would truly be a devasting disappointment. I do find a bit suspicious how Ricky "bulked" up so quickly, I knew he would, but I didn't think it would be so quickly. If he's not on steroids, kudos to his workout regiment. Maybe he's heading in the right direction... Only time will tell.

It was good news to hear that ricky was ripped. It meant to me that he was taking it seriously about coming back to play ball instead of just coming back to save his *** some money.

About as good as news as we can get about Ricky at this point. But we know tommorrow is another day...
