Suck for MARIOTA

Joe is in a remarkable position. If he yanks RT, he is essentially saying he failed to develop his QB and why would anyone give him another chance for another signal caller? However, if Moore comes in and sparks the team and the staff can show RT was the "problem" and they finish 9-7, Joe can state that he and his staff were not the issues.

However, if Moore comes in and the team still stinks, Joe will have the bullseye right on him and it will be obvious the team has to start over.

I say there is no way he yanks RT.
 
It's a hell of a lot easier to sit here and take potshots at qb's who are struggling at the NFL level. It's much tougher to actually identify and pick a franchise qb out of the college ranks who will work out. I would need to study Mariota more but he doesn't strike me as any big deal. Neither does the Hundley kid. Winston is deranged. Answers are few and far between.

Kirk Cousins is a much better quarterback than Tannehill.. He always has been.. yet Tannehill went #8 and Cousins went #102... shocking

I think he's fired either way.
 
I don't think a team will EVER deliberately tank because no player worth a damn will actually go out and try NOT to play well. But what we CAN do as an organization is once it's been decided that this team isn't good enough to compete at a high level... Start playing the younger players to see what they can do. If the vets have something to say about it... Coaches can retort.... You had your chances... Shoulda player better. Next man up!

Couldn't be further from the truth....Russell was a lazy POS. Winston works hard, plays hard, composed and is a leader on the field. Off the field he is an immature 20 year old. He has done some bone headed things, that needs to be fixed, but on the field he is money...
