Sun-Sentinel staff - 2014 Dolphins predictions

AccuScore thinks we will be a coin-flip to win the division with the Patriots. AccuScore is not entirely terrible at this stuff.

Just sayin'.
Hard to believe. It's quite possible they could start 1-5. I hate being pessimistic but with the play of Ellerbee and Wheeler, loss of Jones and Pouncey and the offense looking out of sync in pre season, this could be a long year.

They got Dallas winning their division and the Texans over 9 wins and playoffs? Hmm...

Well, not entirely terrible. Texans look to have a good defense, but I can't see them doing anything with Fitzharvard at QB.

I said 10 wins in another prediction post and the optimist in me says we get to that despite the schedule. No telling how good those teams will be this coming season.

On that site J. David posted they have the Pats at just about 9 and 7. Love to see that happen especially if two of their loses come from us.

I think so much for the Patriots depends on Gronk getting healthy. If he is out week one, I like our chances a lot.

Giants fans won't like that simulation much, 1.6% to make the playoffs. Can't say I disagree and I think Coughlin should have left on a high note.

The Giants look AWFUL. They were pretty cruddy last season but I think they look like one of the worst teams in the NFL, they really do.

Those AccuScore numbers have one team reaching or surpassing 11 wins. That's not the current NFL. The premier quarterbacks simply have too much margin for error given the rules and application of them. Even if those teams have 7 points at halftime they end up with 28 and above.

Their high numbers are too low and their low numbers are too high.

they are too high on dallas and too high on chicago both of which have bad defenses...i'd like jax at a over under of 5 to cover but at 7 ehhh that looks about right to me

the saints will run away with their division...no way houston wins 9 games with that qb situation...carolinas in for a fall off...not enough weapons on offense at wr

After a post like this (which there is nothing wrong with) HOW can you dispute your badge?

If the Shou fits...

Eagles have the NFC East on lock down. Quite a flip from years past when it used to be considered one the tougher more respected divisions in the league. Cowgirls, Rednecks and Mini-Me's will be slugging it out to see who can stay off the bottom. Lucky for them, someone has to win the division games.

What the hell Hyde? That's the answer I'd expect from a fair weather fan! Not someone PAID to watch practices and evaluate the teams progress! What do you do at work all day!?

I'm guessing they also think this is the year Brady can't shoulder the load anymore? These past few seasons he has pulled off have been impressive given the carousel that his receiving corps has been.

13-6 :bdh:

I think you are closer than most. I'm going with 11-5 because I see a team with young and real talent brewing. I'm not certain Philbin is the HC we need, yet I'm intrigued by his selection of Lazer as OC. I hate to admit it now, but it's appearing more and more like it really was Sherman holding us back. If the defense can be at least as good as or better than last year's, 11- 5 could be easy.
