Super Bowl This year

dont forget we have to go through the jets bills KC colts pittsburg NE Ravens teams like that in the playoffs i dont think we are ranked that high yet 1 win does not mean we are going to the SB

1 play.... 1 drive... 1 quarter... 1 half.... 1 game.... at a time.. And never take any of it for granted.. In the end,, let the cards fall where they may...And dont overlook a single moment!

You can say whatever you want. But we have had the pieces in place for a number of years for a Super Bowl run. We had one very poor season. We now have a qb with an arm and an offensive line that will improve every week. All we need is a couple of young guys to step up and I can see it happening. I know we have to go through New England most likely or maybe the Colts. But why not? Two years ago we were talking like we could do it. Why not now? Take Carolina for example they rebounded after a poor season. Why couldn't we? We have the talent.

What have you been smoking dude. We will be lucky to be 9-7 with our schedule, playing the toughest division in football. Our 'qb with a arm' is not a Superbowl type QB. He has been a journeyman for a reason. He is very average. He will have a good game here and there, and a 3-4 int game here and there. Our OL really stinks. Now there is optimism with Saban in charge, but give it 2-3 years. We need a little time.

Well, you've got to plan for where you're going not for where you've been. So, in spite of a few bad years, I'm planning on seeing the Phins in the SB this year. So far, there is no one ahead of us in the race & half the teams are behind.

edit: :shakeno: I'm like this every year..... when will I learn.

Its OK to have the enthusiasm...but you might not want to express it. Saying anything remotely close to us winning a championship sets you up for some serious backlash..as well as makes fans look like complete homers.

Lets take it one game at a time.

Whoa there, Nelly...getting ahead of yourself after one game aren't we ??

The Fins will be improved, but to expect a SB run is a little unrealistic...Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I will be..

I like your enthusiasm, but slow down. Just because you can run a mile doesn't mean you can win a marathon.

I agree....unless we rip off a 6-0 run like we did in 1992 and eevn then we didnt make it to the Superbowl....

I'll be happy to just make the playoffs and say we are right back in the hunt...but even that is a long waaaaaayyyyyy from now as its only going to be week 2...lets concentrate on one week at a time and only ourselves...the rest will take care of itself.

If Saban read this, I believe he would try to temper your enthusiasm with a swift kick to the Nads.

Well look at our schedule. I DONT think the Jets, Panthers, Saints, Bills, Browns, Buccaneers, Raiders, Titans are gonna be tough. Now on the other hand, the Patriors, Chargers, Falcons, Chiefs will be tough. I think we have a better chance of beating the Patriots than we do of beating the Chiefs. They beat us like 55-21 2-3 years ago.

Don't be a homer dude. We still have question marks on both sides of the ball and one game doesn't determind if you are a SB team or not.

That was in Arrowhead my friend. It won't be the same story here. Arrowhead is an incredible place to be...
