Definitely no Tunsil or 1st round pick. But add Clowney to the defence and it’s looking pretty good. He’s a difference maker in an area of need.

Cap space is good, but sitting on a pile of cash won’t win games. Ross can afford it.

edit to add - this is obviously dependant on him being all-in on Miami.

I believe we are being used in these trade negotiations, Clowneys agents will use the Dolphins as a pawn to get a better deal and go where he really wants to go.

Thats the most false/wrong statement in this thread. That's the same as saying bell had NO leverage with Pitts. Doesn't anyone understand his contract status? Or how the NFL works?

He hasn't signed his franchise tender and can refuse to do so until there's a deal to be traded to a team he wants to play for. Hence the meeting he is reported to have had with Flores to see if the Dolphins are a team he wants to play for.

And it's kind of like saying no one will pay Antonio Brown because of his antics in Pitt. Players with talent always have leverage.

Reports that I've seen have said while Houston wants Tunsil, Miami isn't willing to include him. So there is that.
