I Saw The 15 Yrd Pass To Wes, Has He Had Any Other Passes Thrown To Him? And How Many Yrds?
 
I just want to say I said it back during camp that he was a Wayne. I don't usually ttot my horn but I'm so rarely able to that I want to now. But I bet someone else saw it before me! I agree, good call buddy! He's got that little playmaker when you need it mentality. We need guys like that.
 
I have been comparing him to wayne C around here too. same type player, not a burner, but great hands and a BIG HEART.

Is it because Wes has not shown year in or year out...or because you are still associating Chrebet with the skills he has shown in the past?

Welker finished with 4 catches for 60 yards. Not a bad performance for the 3rd WR.
 
Any guy who has that kind of output at WR and still has a high average on punt and kick returns is alright with me. There are some special teams guy who play nothing but special teams who would love to have stats like that.
 
3rd, 4th, whatever. Welker seemed to get more balls thrown his way today than Boston, whether that was be design or not I don't know. Anyway, with Welker emerging, you really have to look at our WR corps and say "Wow"... Chambers, Booker, Boston, Welker and then throw in Bryan "Happy" Gilmore.... that's a nice set of receivers.
 
I honestly don't think it is going to be a problem with him. It is obvious that he has good hands. As many times as he touches the ball it's bound to happen occasionally. I'm not worried. Maybe we should be concerned about Chambers and ole Gus, too. :rolleyes:
