Taiwan Jones looks better than thomas.

Sweet, so the coaching staff will ruin Thomas like they pretty much did Henne...

I love how this F.O. operates. Basically draft a guy and put everything on his shoulders. The rb situation last year wasn't all that great so get rid of everyone and tell the rook that he must perform now. When he doesn't it's that you are "dissapointed" in him. The stress for a rook to perform must be tremendous. Money aside, Thomas must spend half his days on the toilet from all the stress. Of course sparano's pet the o-line has no bearing on Thomas play...They did the same damn thing with Henne. Next it will be pouncey. These philosophies freaking suck man.
 
taiwan jones off what i saw yesterday is a rediculous talent...there's no doubt about that...although he couldn't stay healthy in college so we'll see how long he can as a pro...but that kids rediculously explosive

I wanted Carl Nicks as well but he was a restricted free agent so it would have cost us a high draft pick to sign him.

There were others besides Nicks. A LOT of others who were quality interior OLmen. MIAMI went after NONE of them. SPARANO's a dunce/diehard COWBOYS fan, and IRELAND can't see past his nose.
 
ingrams not getting enough snaps in that backfield...just give it time...losing snaps to pierre thomas has got to change...they're not close to the same talents
 
i disagree...its obvious to me on tape who's the better player...very obvious...but if you only get a snap a series pretty much its hard to get any rhythm...if ingrams only getting the rock 10 times a game its a waste...get pierre thomas out of the damn way...and make sproles what he is...a 3rd down only back
 
I'm concerned about Thomas. Maybe its just him choosing #33 that is giving me the creeps but he doesn't look as big and strong as advertised. We knew he didn't possess blazing speed but I really hope we haven't burned another 2nd round pick when we could have doubled up in the later rounds for similar or even better talent.

Inking Larry Johnson screams of a panic move to me.
 
We should make a call to Al Davis and see if bush is available. I know he must be ready to take the next step and not sit behind macfadden. I know the line needs fixed first but it's good insurance if Reggie gets hurt. New Orleans has a plethora of backs. Hell cobbs looked great although against scrubs.

Im not worried about Thomas. He had the only decent run last week. Hes behind a ****ty *** oline.

Johnson was replacing Kory Sheets.
 
if its me and i got a shot at a back in new orleans i could go get joquie bell...and i bet he gets cut...

Carter is going to be a good RB in the NFL. If he was given the chance, I could see him starting over both Addai and Brown.

Taiwan Jones has been everything everyone has expected him to be. He's an explosive player with injury concerns. His play last night was the first action he has seen since the beginning of training camp when he was out with a hamstring injury.
