Taiwan Jones looks better than thomas.

That boy sure is fast.... looked a hell of a lot faster last night against 3rd and 4th stringers.....

delone carter showed off some outstanding quick feet the other night...i know that

We should have a good O-line...we have certainly spent enough high picks & spent enough free agent money trying to build one. Top that off with a head coach who is supposed to be an O-line expert and it leaves you scratching your head.

I was hoping we'd draft him.. but at least we didn't draft a bum instead of him in that round.

Way too early to be having these threads . . . Daniel Thomas is gonna be a good RB.

Mark ingram has barely done anything too. relax

Or is it just the latest 2nd round bust by this regime?

Misi is far from being considered a bust, Merling is not our greatest D-linemen, but still good, nowhere is he a bust, and even though some want to consider him a bust, so far Henne is showing not only is he not a bust, he may be good enough to lead this offense back to the playoffs.

Sorry only 1 true bust with this regime....and that was a few years ago, by Parcells himself.

I remember a couple of nice runs from him, very very speedy and got some moves. But I also remember him being blown up when called to block/chip a blitzer, he even got pancaked once. Maybe thats why he lasted to the 4th round.

Idk if anybody watched the raiders vs saints game last night but this kid Taiwan Jones was impressive, he is a 4th rd pick for the raiders this year, he ran with speed and confidence, very elusive, good balance and broke some tackles, i dont understand how a no name kid like this could look so good and thomas can look so bad so far.

Wow. We needed a power back. And we got one of the best available. Thomas is from a major conference. I could just imagine the reaction on this board had we drafted a 205 lb running back from Eastern Washington who can't handle the blitz, not strong at running between the tackles, played teams like Idaho State, Southeast Mo. State and made him our power running back. Would you rather have him or Reggie Bush? Please don't fall for the trap of basing your opinion on a few pre-season rushes. Thomas in the Pre-season, he will be fine. Too much talent.

Please think before you speak.

Phillip Merling (Had A Promising Rookie year, got hurt last year, just played a great game on Sat)
Pat White (Bust)
Koa Misi (Decent Rookie Year) Just ask pro football focus.
Brandon Marshall (80 Catches 1100 Yds Receiving)
Daniel Thomas? (Has yet to even play a down) but he's already considered a bust.

I'm not worried about Daniel Thomas, but Taiwan Jones and the Bell kid on the Saints did some nice things in that game.

i saw that also...i think the small school and injury history thing is what kept him on the board that long...he ran with some toughness inside also...kids a real talent...but in pass pro he go run the heck over...

I agree. I think I may have misjudged Carter. He's looked good in every Colts game I've watched. His COD in particular has been outstanding for such a, uh... round player.
