Take a Guess who the Dolphins Vet is that is purplexed about Vontae?

If we couldn't get higher than a 2nd for Vontae, you think this great FO is going to get anything better than a 4th for Dansby? :ponder:

What has vontea done to warrant a first rounder? Get burnt deep? Come to camp out of shape? We got 3seasons of play and a likely high 2nd round pick only 7to fifteen spots behind the position we drafted him.... Plus we got a conditional 6th so we did get more then a 2nd.

Who cares? It's probably what the whole locker room is thinking.

Anyway, the important part of that article is that the Dolphins apparently spent the entire weekend going over possible trades for wide receivers. At least that indicates they recognize there's an issue are at least theoretically going to do something about it. Hopefully if we bring in a veteran that means Naanee will get sent on his merry useless way, but that's probably wishful thinking at this point with these clowns running the show.

I don't see him as a leader. He is just that veteran LB that every team has that can't keep his mouth shut when he needs to.

The point is the TEAM sees him as a leader. If you've ever been on a team of any sort, it doesn't matter what the outside world says, leaders are needed and the teams that don't have leaders are weaker.

Oh argument over you win with that last point there :rolleyes2:

Dude is only 24yrs old and could've turned it around. People forget about Soliai's issues so quick. Look what he went through to get where he is now. If we gave Vontae a chance to mature who knows what he could've done in the next few years.. Again he was only 24. That's really young....

Depends what kind of leaders they have...

Any player from last years team who wants to complain has to take a loom in the mirror. After 4 losing seasons they all need a reality check. Who cares who displeased. Shut up and do your job.

Are we really arguing if Dansby is the leader of this defense??

Am I the only one that seen Dansby as 1 of 3 leaders of the whole team in the little pow wow with Philbin about Chad?

Or how about last year when he was one of the captains?

Okay he is young great point, not. He's young and lazy, you can't coach work ethic. Overweight to camp two years in a row, missed a lot of playing time last year cause he was injured with hamstring issues from being out of shape. Potential won't flourish without work ethic which he lacked. The coaches saw that and got great value for an under achiever.

The players seem to look at him as a leader. Didn't they vote him captian and also gave him the leadership award for last year.

I just thought of it, my first thought was dansby but im really thinking bush now.

That quote actually sounds like a lot of posts on Finheaven lol. Unfortunately though, it's true.

This why we need to keep weeding out some of these players. The coach stood up in front of the whole team, and told the players if you ever have any concern about disagreeing with decisions that are made come see me, and these little girls are still running to the media.

And if they watch Vontae's play this pre-season, and someone came knocking at your door with a 2nd and a 6th for his ass, you would trade him to. Do they realize we got more for Vontae than we did for Marshall.
