I like McCoy. Philbin will not bring the Packer Offensive line, wr's, te's or QB if he signs here.

It takes YEARS to draft and build a West coast offense folks.

McCoy already has a history with Moore. Look what he was able to do with that space cadet over there.

Not only that, his son just passed away. The fact that he is even interviewing seems a little peculiar to me

philbin is a crapshot i been reading all these articles today about him and how he's basically the oline coach for the packers. who knows what type of coach he is and what type of offense he will bring.

McCoy CAN be a good coach but all the bronco fans hate his playcalling but that may be due to john fox?

i like bowles but he's not going to get the job imo but he does have a nice background and is respected

I feel like this is a presidential election where all the choices are rather poor. Having said that Id like to see Philbin given the shot. But is there really a guarantee Flynn will follow? I guess the chances are good if Ross spends the money and we implement an offense Flynn is comfortable in.

Those people who are saying Winston Moss for DC....wouldnt that be a lateral move from GB to here? Why would he want that?

Moss is not DC in GB. Dom Capers is DC in GB!

Can I just forego making a choice on these three guys and have three better choices when the next coach is hired in three years?

I'm going to go ****ing ballistic if we name Bowles as HC. Wouldn't be surprised one bit.

To be honest, the safe and probably the logical pick would be bowles. I'll tell you why I think so. As you can see we are all interviewing coaches that were never head coaches in the nfl so obviously we arent looking for that kind of experience. You would think they would be looking for a coach that would ignite the fanbase. You tell me maybe im wrong, but not every dolphins fan posts or read on this board so do you really think a philbin type of coach/personality does much for fans and sales?, no ...mccoy? i mean yeah we know what he brings but no one knows this guy either...philbin, r.i.p to his son but in his death not many knew who he was either, dolphins news "potential dolphins coach son died.." i think its bowles because everyone is familiar with bowles...wouldnt be a drastic change seeing they still want to keep ireland so they want to continue what they started. If they werent interested in bowles why bring him back in for another interview? All they are trying to get from these guys now is the vibe they get from them..mccoy and philbin are outsiders i know they want to speak with them but in the end i think its probably bowles since they know him and it still would be a change and the players like him already

McCoy or Philbin, not Bowles.

For those calling the finalist list "a joke" or "pathetic", get over it, you don't know how these guys will turn out. You aren't interviewing these guys or know their plans. There is a reason why all three finalists have interviewed in other cities for head coach jobs. They aren't the big name like Cowher or Fisher, but lately it is the unknown names like these that turn teams around the quickest.

Tony Saprano: First Time Head Coach.

Raheem Morris: First Time Head Coach.

Hue Jackson: First Time Head Coach.

Steve Spagunolo: First Time Head Coach.

Jim Caldwell: First Time Head Coach.

Seems to me they just as likely to get fired the quickest.

I am for whoever this team selects because I am a Miami dolphin fan.

Just to show a comparison of rankings in offense for the past three years between the broncos and the dolphins I did a little research. Here goes, take it for whY it's worth.

2011. 2010. 2009

Total points per game
Dolphins # 20. Dolphins #30. Dolphins #15
Broncos # 25. Broncos #19. Broncos # 20
Total yards per game
Dolphins #22. Dolphins #21. Dolphins # 17
Broncos #23. Broncos #13. Broncos # 15

like I said take it for whatever it's worth. I didn't see a huge upgrade

So much for all the Gruden and Cowher talk huh

boy how the dolphins have fallen

 Just a few months ago there were the Gruden, Cowher, or Fisher debates. Now we're staring Joe Philbin in the face.

doesn't matter who right now, but who ever it is they need to surround that coach with good assistants
