I think we should hire Philbin - quick. . he has been in an O position of some sort since 1986 and works in a fantastic scenario over at GB. . he would likely be abkle to influence Flynn to conme in at QB releasing a draft pick so we can focus on other areas RT is one I would highlight.
Fod our DC I think we should chase Spagnuolo or if not try to keep Bowles in that role.

I really wanted Zimmer. Loved the guys passion. The fact that he is no longer being considered is really disturbing.

Of the three left, I am going for McCoy. I like the fact that he's young and he seems smart. He did a great job this year of making chicken salad out of chicken s**t. And I also like the fact that he's an ex QB. QBs are ususally good leaders and they know how to manage a game.

I think a lot of people are hoping for Philbin because they think he will bring Clements as OC and Matt Flynn as his QB. News flash!: Flynn will go to whatever team pays him the most. That's what FAs do. Not follow old coaches. And Clement will probobly get the promotion and be the OC in Green Bay. Not a bad gig for him.

I would be semi-OK with Bowles as DC but if he's the choice at HC I may have to take a break from football for a while.

I dont know, probably Philbin. I dont see the automatic link that Philbin = Flynn, what it should give us is a better feel for whether Flynn has it. Maybe Philbin has seen enough to not pursue him in FA.

I guess the lack of interest in Philbin from Reggie McKenzie is a concern.

The Raiders are supposed to interview Philbin this week.

Agreed. If Matt Flynn wasn't a free agent and they weren't thinking about the package deal I'm not sure Philbin would have even received an interview. Obviously it's a QB game and all but that seems a flimsy reason for choosing your head coach.

No question - if Philbin is appointed then we are going to be the huge frontrunner to get Flynn with Ross declaring we will not be outbid. Flynn is going to get seriously paid (maybe double what he would have got before the 6 TD game) - all I can say is that Flynn better be good because we'll be all in for a few years

This is so tough, because I am so not down with unproven head coach. This time around I really wanted experience. Marty Shottenheimer would be even better.

I'd pick McCoy if I had my choice. I like he's adaptable to his talent. Philbin didn't call plays over the weekend. I think it would've been nice to showcase your stuff.

Neither were very impressive really.

Looks like Bowles will be hired in New York

I want Bowles. Like I said before, he's going to be a good head coach. On top of having players wanting to play for him, he's also extremely intelligent and analytical. And blunt on top of that.
