So in other words, any player that has ever played for NS or met him on the street is a candidate to become a Miami Dolphins if the get released....well these talking heads have been saying the same thing about every LSU player on an NFL roster for weeks so I guess that eventually....they'll be right.

No. Nick Saban knows him just as good if not better then anyone else. He loves the kid, and won a National Championship with the kid.

I was about to Post it. They said he is a very smart kid, and that he picked up the play book very fast. They are high on the kid and his knowledge. Well, Saban knows Rohan Davey, he knows Matt Mauck better then most people we shall see.

Mauck has played well, but who knows...I'm sure Saban and staff have been looking at players that may be available and have their eyes on some...

I think Mauck only loss 1 game his last two years at LSU. He's smart and a good leader. They went undefeated his senior season. Saban would definatly like to work with him again.
