Sounds good but I'd trade down if possible. I know i'm missing an N in his name. Opps.

Good interview. He sounded more confident during this than he did on tv...

Yes lets keep passing on QB's in the draft....its worked so well the last 12 years!
The Dolphins haven't "passed" on QB's in the draft, they just haven't selected one in the 1st round.

No offense to the name of this site, but I wonder if fans realize the term Fins did not exist when we were actually great, during the early '70s? Nobody used that term. Fans...media...nothing. I'm not sure when it sloppily entered the language. It still bugs me when I see or hear it, particularly in official terms, like this case...a media outlet of the franchise. Granted, I dislike abbreviations in general.

Good post

But there's no value. Number 8 is too high. Better to trade down three spots and take him. That's great value.

Trade down and take him. Its worth it. If people wanted Mallett at 15, you should want him. He is mobile and athletic and throws well on the run and knows receiver position. He has excellent character and work ethic which to me is the key to success in the NFL.

I'd rather have Weeden. By the time Tanehill is ready to start, he'll be 26-27, wich only makes a 2 year difference between him and Weeden... My thinking might be flawed but thats the way I see it...

If you think he is your guy you take him at #8 period or risk him not being there a few spots later. Yes the value is greater by trading down but not if he is off the board.

You think Tannehill wont be ready for another 4-5 years?

I'm not sure why so many people think he's a project. If he has the goods he'll be on the field his 3rd year at the latest. He's a risk, but he's not a long term project. He simply needs to learn a yr or two.

Um what does this have to do with anything? My vote for post of the year given the randomness. It is still early, but this one is a challenger.
