It wasn't all pretty.
Against the No. 1 defense, Tannehill threw into double coverage and almost was picked off by Reshad Jones. He then completed a pass to Jerome Messam, who was immediately stopped for no gain by Misi.
Tannehill then fumbled a snap, and was sacked for a 7-yard loss by Cameron Wake before the offense punted away.
“The first team throws a little bit more stuff at you, but obviously it’s the same overall defense," Tannehill said. "They’re better at mixing up coverages and disguising a little bit, but we had a couple of plays we should have made when we went against the 1 defense. Obviously, the dropped snap killed us on that drive. Can’t have that. You never know, if I don’t drop that snap, could have had a first down there.”
