Perhaps when the delusional BS that tries to get slipped in unchallenged as "fact" is restricted to the Beasts and no longer infects the fins fans' main forum???

Call me crazy but I think a team playing its starters and actually trying, with 2 of its 3 of its best defenders either hobbled or sidelined, outscoring you 24-zero in the last 31 minutes killing any delusion that game 15 was anything other than a gift, is about as humiliating as it can get.
And although clueless is relative, I admit Rex is marginally better than Sparano although you sure couldn't tell it from last season.

The Jets were down 20-17 w/ under 10 mins left in the game. it was not a Miami type postseason blowout.

yes I am delusional for posting facts and you are clearly not delusional trying to claim Mike Sherman deserves credit for developing Brett favre.
so Cincy was already dead in 2009 but NYJ, Buf, KC, Sea, SL weren't dead in 2008? It's so funny seeing all of your weak excuses.

They are not excuses, they are the facts. KC, Sea, and STL were all bad teams, but that is completely different than playing teams that already have things wrapped up. #1. They rest their starters, and #2. they have no desire to win at all. No real game planning, desire, ect, ect... Completely different. Miami was not a good team, but how did that work out for the Jets this year?
I love how you always talk about spin. Mike Sherman helped develop Brett favre? He didn't go to Gb until after Favre had won a SB and was already league MVP.
Favre was 7-3 as postseason starter until Sherman joined GB, w/ Sherman as OC/HC he was 4-6. Post Sherman? 2-2
but Mike Sherman helped develop Favre:lol2::lol2:
Sanchez was so unready for the NFL he helped his team to 2 title games in his first 2 seasons.
you played 5-6 DEAD teams to end 2008, we got a qtr and ahalf of backups against Indy in a close game then a half of backups against Cincy in a blowout game. You had a MUCH easier time to make the playoffs so it's comical how you guys will bash the Jets for taking care of business in 2009 yet praise the dolphins for taking care of business in 2008. I wonder why that is?:err:
Yeah, nice spinning narrative: it's as if the Colts didn't outscore the jest 24-0 in the final 31 minutes the next time they faced off when ahem ahem, the Colts starters stayed in, there was actually something to play for, and despite a hobbled Freeney and no Al Sanders on the field. And if you want to count that Bengals game as a legit win, then it's only consistent that you've also gotta acknowledge you faced a dead Bengals playoff team which lost 4 out of their last 7 regular season games and was outscored by 37 points during that span. Try to spin it as you want, but here in the FH no spin zone, it's considered a charity backdoor pass into the playoffs. :idk:
Because facing bad teams is completely different than facing good / average teams that have no desire to win. Just look at the last Jets / Dolphins game. The Dolphins also won 11 games in 08, while the Jets needed help to win 9 in 09.
The dolphins won 11 games against an incredibly weak schedule, they beat one playoff bound team- the 8-8 Chargers
The Indy starters had no desire to go undefeated?
The Jets made the playoffs by one game in '09, Miami made it by one game in '08. The Jets once in postseason won 2 road playoff games including beating the hottest team in the league int he div rd, Miami got thrashed at home against a team that hadn't won a playoff game since 2001(also beat Miami).
We have been over this a ton of times before. While the Dolphins were beating the bad / average teams they played in 08, the Jets were busy losing 6 out of 7 at one point and losing to teams like 7-9 Miami (X2), 6-10 Buff, 7-9 Jax, and 9-7 Atl. All bad / average teams that the Jets couldn't handle their business agasint, but they somehow manged to beat an undefeated Colts team, and an average Cincy team. I wonder why that is?
I'm sure a part of the Colts would have liked to go undefeated, but it was not the the priority, or they would have kept the starters in and won the game just like they did a couple weeks later.
You have to admit that if the 09 Jets faced the 08 Ravens, they would have lost that playoff game. I don't see the point of using the playoff win as a way to validate the Jets season while dismissing the Dolphins based solely on a playoff loss to the Ravens when the Jets would have also lost to the Ravens.
