Tannehill comes of age as a leader

no not at all blaming the QB for A Browns play....all im saying is..

do you think USA Today writes this article about tannehill if Miami lost to Pit on Sunday..

it goes no deeper than that. Its more of a question about the media than our QB

If you want my opinion, if A Brown keeps his foot in bounds 4 inches to the right and we lose, the USA today does not write this article about Miami and Tannehill becoming a leader.

Thats all im saying. Not a reflection of my opinion of Ryan, i think very highly of him just like most real fans do

I think one of the most undervalued traits RT has is his resiliency... After getting sacked 40+ times, most young QBs would be seeing ghosts out there. But he never seems fazed after these hits. He just gets up and keep standing tall in the pocket. That's where I think his time at WR helped him the most. He is used to taking a hit, unlike a lot of QBs out of college...'

Ya know...I never thought of that piece of it, but that makes sense.
Now, any one sack could injure Tanne and he'd be toast, but in general, he may be used to getting hit more then your average qb.

Tannehill not only is getting better at passing the ball, (84 or higher passer rating in 6 straight games)but he is better at knowing when to take off and run with the ball.

Tannehill becoming a dual threat

Tannehill has become a dual threat of late. He made plays with both his arm and legs during back-to-back road wins against the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. He has rushed for 78 yards on six carries the past two weeks.

Tannehill’s 13.0 yards per carry the past two games is adding an extra element to Miami’s offense.

He needs to beat Brady. Has to get passed that hurdle. Evolve Tanny, evolve!

Dolphins have the highest Passer Rating in the NFL on plays lined up inside the opponent's 10 yard line. They're 6th highest inside the 20.

Most of the AFC has veteran QB's on the way out (Denver, New England, San Diego). I don't know of any younger, successful Qb's that can go up against Tannehill and out perform him. The only two that come to mind are Dalton and Luck, which Tannehill has already handled. As it stands, once the veterans step out in 3-4 years, maybe sooner, we might actually have the AFC's best QB.

*Update

Put Brady on that list of defeated QB's. I know he's not a younger guy, but it has to be mentioned.
