Tannehill has lost 5 safety blankets yet we expect him to excel

Sounds like someone got over their temper tantrum....

I'm not "over my temper trantrum" I just choose to look at the pos and negs of the guy. Unlike you, who will only look at the positives, and try to pull out every excuse for the negatives.

I'm still on the side of, I don't think he is going to make the improvements to become a solid and reliable NFL QB. I think he is going to continue to make the same mistakes and show no improvement based on the little to no improvement he has made so far on the weak areas of his game. I hope I'm wrong, and he is the guy and makes these improvements. But based on what I have seen, doesn't look like it.

Some fans like you want to dwell on the negatives and not think more constructively on what really went good in that game, and there was a lot of good things that came out of the game.

Running game
Sherman calling for the dump off and screens on blitzing downs and a few sweeps.
Defense keeping Brady under 125 yards the entire game.

But all you emotion wacks want to start your "Tanny hate gone wild" 5 minutes after the game is over.

You are a prime example of why some fans should never post after an emotional loss

Your boy Wallace ****ing blows. Just throwing that out there.

Ryan Tannehill has a lot of room for improvement, but Mike Wallace is going to be shown the door in two years because he's apparently just not very good at doing anything but running under pinpoint perfectly thrown 50 yard bombs and catching them in his bread basket with no defender in the area.

I do think we need to give RT about 5 years to prove himself. IMO from the first time I saw him last preseason I felt he would not be an instant success like Luck or Wilson. But he will mature like Dalton, Alex Smith, or Matt Ryan. He needs lots of time and I hope we all can be patient with him. I'm as frustrated as anyone but have enough hope to give him a chance.

Tannehill has lost 5 safety blankets yet we expect him to excel

Ryan's number one saftey blanket Hartline is still here, and he has a new saftey blanket in Charles Clay which is good being it's a HB/TE.Teams are trying to double cover Wallace and keeping a close eye on Hartline. So the Slot WR,TE who ever it may be should put up good numbers and the backs should be used more in screens and dump offs.

McKinney definitely made a difference in such short play time on the team.

Agree, he does. I made my account here after his signing. I regret the name.

I have commented on the positive in other threads. But I can understand that you don't click on any posts that don't mention Tannehill.

I agree with all of those positives. I also commented on how the oline looked improved with the short time with BK here.

But you dislike all of my posts because I choose to post about the negatives of RT, I have also made positive comments on him. You are like a woman who only looks at the negatives to strengthen their argument LOL.

I'm not going to make a ton of excuses for RT like you do. You can not deny the fact he is not improving in areas of pocket awareness, looking off defenders, locking onto targets. Even in the short time he has been in the NFL there should be improvement you can see... and you just don't see it the improvement there where it should be. i'm not saying bench the kid, but its not a good sign that we have yet to see improvement in these areas.

I know the oline has been terrible, and he is rushed a lot. But even on the plays where he gets plenty of time to throw, and the pocket eventually begins to collapse. He has no idea where to go, he runs into his olinemen, other dlinemen, or doesn't take off and run like he should. That is just ridiculous at this point that he can't see that. He could be extending drives, instead we are punting.

Stop the excuses. Hartline, Wallace, Clay and Matthews are more than capable.

I have to agree with Hayden... We have a enough weapons IMO. We just need the the QB that can put the team on his back and win give game. RT can throw all picks he wants Idc. But when it's clutch time you need to come through and win it. If not your just an average Qb.

How the hell do you know what posts I click on,it's pretty easy to check.

Oh big freakin deal, you commented on B.McKinney.While you spent and wasted 30 minutes of your life No thanking 120 of my old posts sunday after the game, you could have easily read a few and saw half of them we're not on RT.

I dont need to make any excuses for Ryan Tannehill, your the one with his panties all in a wad.I'm perfectly fine with the development to this point of RT.

Most of the RT supporters see the negatives.I'm not gonna throw a temper tantrum every time he has a bad game or the team gets beat.

LOL, you need to get over the no thank thing. Why does that hurt you so bad?

The big deal is you say I only bash RT, and that's not true. I was making a counter-point to your point.

You may not need to make the excuses, but that's primarily all that you do for him. And that's fine if you are "fine with the development to this point of RT". But others aren't. And because thier opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean you need to be condescending to them, and please don't tell you aren't, you know you are and so do others. That's really my main beef with you.

While I think we agree on some things (you will choose to ignore those things for the purpose of this discussion I am sure), the thing we disagree on is the development of RT up until this point. I am not happy with his development. I feel that he should be ahead of where he is now, even with the issues of the o-line, and lack of weapons last year. I'm not asking for the guy to be an elite #1 right now. I'm just asking for a few steps in that direction. And when you see someone continue to make the same mistakes without improvement, it's a warning sign. And that's what I see in SOME of RT's game. I hope he can fix these things, but I'm slowly turning to the fact that i don't think he will. Hopefully he proves me wrong as the year goes on.

I think he has a great arm, which I have said before. He has the confidence, and he does have the ability to be clutch when we need him to be. But the negatives of his game, and the lack of improvement in those areas at the point in his career (although early) is very concerning.

I swear it will be the year 2020 and people will still bring out the excuse that he was a former wr turned qb and that he has few starts compared to Wilson and luck.
