Tannehill has lost 5 safety blankets yet we expect him to excel

LOL, you need to get over the no thank thing. Why does that hurt you so bad?

The big deal is you say I only bash RT, and that's not true. I was making a counter-point to your point.

You may not need to make the excuses, but that's primarily all that you do for him. And that's fine if you are "fine with the development to this point of RT". But others aren't. And because thier opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean you need to be condescending to them, and please don't tell you aren't, you know you are and so do others. That's really my main beef with you.

While I think we agree on some things (you will choose to ignore those things for the purpose of this discussion I am sure), the thing we disagree on is the development of RT up until this point. I am not happy with his development. I feel that he should be ahead of where he is now, even with the issues of the o-line, and lack of weapons last year. I'm not asking for the guy to be an elite #1 right now. I'm just asking for a few steps in that direction. And when you see someone continue to make the same mistakes without improvement, it's a warning sign. And that's what I see in SOME of RT's game. I hope he can fix these things, but I'm slowly turning to the fact that i don't think he will. Hopefully he proves me wrong as the year goes on.

I think he has a great arm, which I have said before. He has the confidence, and he does have the ability to be clutch when we need him to be. But the negatives of his game, and the lack of improvement in those areas at the point in his career (although early) is very concerning.

Who said it hurt,I thought it was pretty sad that you thought you we're hurting me,I thought it was pretty funny.....you we're the one with the hurt.

And thanks. :thanks:

You seemed to spent an awful lot of time thinking it did.

The lack of poise and his penchant for just shutting down when the pressure is on is disconcerting. He really just gets that 'deer-in-headlights' look and body language when adversity strikes. He's supposed to be a good athlete but has no 'wiggle' to him at all, and he compounds it by failing to make LoS adjustments to pick-up blitzers. The sack fumble that really was the key play of the game and handed NE the tying TD on a silver platter really should not have happened.
I would just like to see, if anything, him start eluding some of these blitzers, especially when they're smaller and he could just stiff-arm them right to the ground. Big Ben would just pick up some of these blitzing DBs and throw them back from where they came. I want more toughness and a chip on the shoulder from Tanny, but maybe that's too much to ask.

You can make excuses for him all you want. He is not a good Quarterback and we are going to miss the playoffs again largely because of him and his coaches.

Yeah, Blockers have nothing to do with that. Blind side hits from an open rusher is his fault. Its funny that QB's with good blocking and have plenty of time to see the field do better than guys running for their lives. If Tannehill had more time maybe Wallace would would be able to run a little deeper with more of a space between him and the DB.
