Funny how your so adamant only after losses. You disappear when we are winning games. Blame the game on Tannehill? Ok dude.. How many drops did Hartline have today? Our recievers couldnt beat the corners covering them. The O line played like **** and Tannehill had no time. Oh and once again... We dont have any sort of running game and we abandon it very quickly.

But yea... Lets blame Tannehill for this one. Did he have a perfect game? No... But kinda hard to considering what i had already stated.

Just updated this thread cuz i didnt get around to it til now. Was busy all week with xmas stuff. Prob a bad time to do so since everyone is down on Tannehill now after last week. I dont blame him. I blame Sherman for the poor play calling. I blame the Line for not blocking. I blame Tannehill and Sherman for not changing up the snap count. I blame Pouncy for Tipping off the snap count. I blame Hartline for his 3 or 4 drops he had. And i blame Obama for everything else.

I agree with Pouncey tipping them off. I think that he did it in the Tampa Bay game too.
For all of his talent, and make no mistake he is the O-line leader, his head turn is the key and Sherman/Turner need to address it.

I think that those who are down on Tannehill are in the minority here, by far, so not sure why these threads keep popping up acting like they are in the majority.

This offseason is so important. This is gonna be a year where we overhaul the o-line. It's so important that we do this correctly and protect this guy.

Definitely exited to see what we do. Unlike most, i have faith in Ireland to turn things around with the offensive line. IMO we have 3 starters returning next year from the line and only need to replace 2 spots on the line.

McKinnie will be back for another year or 2. (We will probably draft his future replacement this year) Pouncy will be back next year and we will either move him to Guard or draft a Guard/sign one. Brenner will come back smarter and stronger next season and compete for the second guard spot and hopefully wins it. And RT is up for grabs. Clabo has done better in the second half, but is still replaceable.

Think we need to draft a Tackle and Guard in the first 3 rounds and look to add a veteran to the line as well. OT/MLB/G would be ideal if we could do that in rounds 1/2/3. There are also some really good WR prospects in the early rounds this year. Id like to draft a guy like Jordan Matthews if we can trade up in the early second and maybe trade Hartline for a third or high second if we can. Gibson and Rishard Matthews are more then capable of replacing Hartline. I think Jordan Matthews is going to be a stud and a true #1 WR. Having him and Wallace with Gibson and Matthews as the 3/4 would be a deadly combo.

I dont think we need a TE like most. Egnew im confident will take a nice leap in year 3 and we drafted Sims last year who i think can be good too. We wont waste a pick on TE this year IMO. HOpefully Egnew can break out. He has all the talent and ability to be a good TE in the league.

Year seven of the o-line rebuild. A lucky number at least!

Im sure this is a sarcastic post, because most of your posts are anti Tannehill. But to be honest its true.

We SHOULD have beaten the Ravens. If it wasnt for 2 missed FGS by Sturgis.
We SHOULD have beaten the Bills. If it wasnt for that horrible line and that strip fumble at the 50 yard line with 2 mins left. That was BS and should have never had happened.
We SHOULD have beaten the Bucs. Because they are the Bucs and we came out really flat.
We SHOULD have beaten the Panthers. Had them 4 and 10 at their 20 and they march down the field for a TD needing a TD.
We SHOULD have beaten the Patriots the first game. 3rd and long (BS HOLDING CALL LEADS TO FG) 3rd and long (BS PI call. Leads to TD) 2nd and 10, which would have lead to 3rd and very long (BS batting of the ball call, leads to a TD)

17 points and which would have been good field position for us leads to us losing IMO. But you cant say we should have won all of those games. Discount the Pats and Bucs game and we should still have won a few more games this year that we lost on. Tannehill has kept us in the games and won us games despite being pressured and put on his ass way more then average all season long.

There is no such thing as a QB battle in a game of American Football

193 yards from sorry ass thad lewis...never thought i'd see that...200 plus yards rushing also...what a damn disaster

Who knows how far Tannehill will develop. There are holes in his game but the good outweighs the bad. Only in his second year, started as a rookie, and has shown for the most part consistent improvement. Hasn't reached his talent ceiling yet at all either IMO.

QB is a premiere position in the NFL and finding a great one isn't easy. He has shown enough that giving up on him or claiming he isn't the answer is foolish and stupid at this point.

Guy is intelligent and tough with a lot of talent. I don't know if he will be great or a "franchise QB" but I am happy as hell that he plays for my team. Look at some of the alternatives around the league.
