Why? If that knee is going to be a problem going forward, has he show you enough to warrant that salary and potential for reinjury? Let's wait and see but bring in "real" competition. Not another Matt Moore.
 
The way bodies are dropping left and right we will be sitting too pretty come draft night to pass on a franchise QB.

What in recent history has gone as planned for this team? I am rooting for your scenario as hard as possible though.
 
I don't see Cutler being more than a stop gap QB for this year...... even if he does well
