Tannehill should come out and say if Philbin goes I go

If Philbin goes tannehill is screwed. Young QBs need consistency around them to grow.

Everyone thinks a new coach comes in and just picks up where the other left off.

New coach equals rip it up and do it his way. New coach may want Manziel. Lol all you want but they may think that is the best move and then we will be an even bigger joke of a team.

You fire a Philbin you may as we'll cut tannehill

We lower the bar to make ourselves feel better.

But actually, imo, Tannehill is still very, very green. He's had limited experience in college, and he's a sophmore in the NFL. Keep in mind, he wouldn't even have played if Garrard didn't get hurt. Some posters have said we had the confidence in Tanny to play him right away, that's not what happened. He played because of an injury to another player.

The jury's out on Tannehill, he might develop into a very good QB, but we won't know this year.

But for now, for me anyway, there's no "wow" factor.

lol philibin told the locker room to keep quiet about bully gate and they did the exact opposite includig tannehill.
I don't think philibin is the right leader for this team.
 
He has no leverage. He's a second year QB

Tannehill fits the west coast system, understands the terminology, understands what the coaches are asking out of him, etc.

Philbin and tannehill are what this team needs. Miami must have consistency at QB and HC. Changing every other year in hopes of getting lucky and landing something better is foolish.

Tannehill has power in that Ross and most in the organization see him as the franchise QB. He shows enough good as a 2nd year QB to warrant that hope.

If he tells Ross you get rid of Philbin then I want a trade it will surely make a difference.

"He shows enough good".....:bobdole: I'm glad you don't make decisions for our team. If you did, I would have more faith in poop and toilet paper evolving into something else then you being our GM

The teams personnel already fits a 3-4 better...
