Tannehill staring at 0-3 vs brady. Does this concern you?

It would be really helpful is we stop looking at the players in a microcosm....

If we lose sunday which is a good possibility Tannehill would then be 0-3 vs brady already in his young career. Geno smith already beat brady. Idk why this thought just crossed me but would this concern anybody?

No because football is a team game. If Tannehill's individual performance is as bad as last week, that will concern me.

PALMA had the correct focus -- points scored. Watching tape and apologizing for every poor throw means squat compared to the bottom line, which doesn't lie. Tannehill put up 16 points combined in the two games against New England last year. The relationship of spread and total in those two games indicated we should have scored 40 points.

It shouldn't be impossible to have a breakout game, just like Jeff Ireland isn't prohibited from drafting an unquestioned superstar. Since Philbin and Tannehill have been here, only twice have we scored at least 7 more points than our projection, the 2012 home game against the Raiders and road game against the Jets. The home game against Seattle last year was close but we were basically 6 points above the projection. Note that those games date well into last season. I keep track of distribution and we're stalled.

Does it concern patriots fans that the pats are looking at 1-3 in last four games..? Dumb thread

This year at home:

NE 3-0
Ind 3-1

Check out who both played, and that loss came by the team that will be playing the Pats this week, so that is still too be answered. Pats could very well be 3-1 after this week also.

Ind played the best team in the AFC and won, NE played the best team in the NFC and won.

we'll see, go beat them then we'll talk.

Actually the Colts beat the best team in the AFC, and the best team in the NFC (Before the season started) both convincingly, while the Pats just barely beat the Saints.

Seattle is the best team in the NFC and they aren't very good on the road and Indy beat them in a close one. den is the best team in the AFC(in the reg season) but manning is not good in pressure games and by the time he realized it wasn't a postseason game Denver was in too big of a hole to come back from.

You mean like the how the Saints are no where as good on the road as they are at home? The think to remember is that the Broncos this year have been steamrolling everyone and anyone away/home, kind of like what the 49ers were doing last years, and even with their few little bumps are still
5-2.

I would personally say, the Broncos have been the best team this year of those three (Broncos, 49ers, Saints), but after that, 49ers are a tougher team to beat away then the Saints, at home it does not get much easier playing the 49ers.

Saints in N.O are almost unbeatable, and probably the toughest to beat.

And yet KC is ahead of them in their division while playing a very similiar schedule...:ponder:

KC hasn't beaten anyone. I think KC is a good team(I have always thought Reid was a top coach in this league) but look at their sched?

Jax stinks
Dal- decent
phi- bad
NYG- horrible
Ten- good with Locker, they faced Fitz
Oak- mediocre at best
Hou- bad

Den's sched isn't much tougher(or tough) but it has been tougher than KCs.

The Saints only loss on the road this year was a last second loss at NE

Den has had a pretty weak sched.

There are 2 different SF teams, the first 3 weeks and the last 4 weeks. first 3 weeks they weren't good, last 4 they have been great.

all these teams are very good, we are kind of splitting hairs. I think Indy is a good team but I'm not sold on them being a real big time team. it's still tough tin in Indy and that was a great win but I am not 100$ convinced YET.

What seems more impressive..

Home... 92 points (for) - 41 points (against)
Away....72 points (for) - 59 points (against)

Not the toughest schedule in the world, but they did what they had to, when playing weak teams, they blew them out.

They played the Packers, Seahwks, and the Colts on those three 1st weeks, could it be those three teams were tougher then the Rams, a Declining Texans team, Cards, and the Titans?

We will see, but beating a very hot Broncos team sounded like a very loud statement to me.

who are they playing? seeing #s are nice but means little w/o knowing who they played and the circumstances of the game.

They didn't compete against Ind or Sea.

I picked Indy to win, not b/c I think the are better but b/c I think too much was being made of the game and the bigger the games the smaller the performances from Peyton.

Well they played teams like the Pats, Bears away, and teams like the Dolphins and Atlanta at home.

Which tells you that both those teams are very good.

And the Colts went out there against one of the best passer today, after the owner being quoted that he was overrated (In not so many words), and still beat a very intense and ready to play Peyton Manning.
